Re: Skylines
You dont even have your license? You arent gonna own a Skyline any time soon unless you already have a job paying $80000 a year.evilmegamonkey wrote:I plan on importing one when I get my license. How much will it cost(In all)?

yea dude,
evilmegamonkey, here is some advice, You have atleast two years before you get your liscence and you want to get a skyline? I think you might want to start with some thing that has alot less power and. Trust me, Im going to get my licesnce soon like in a few months, and now im driving a 98 civic. I plan to have my dad's car in possesion soon. But think about what you want. Because of Insurance will be through the roof...
If you mean you plan to import one like in 10 years then i understand. Not for your first car

he is from the US... wich sucks even more...
ever noticed that a Skyline is ALWAYS right hand drive?? And with the strickt emission laws in the US it is really hard to get a car like a Skyline to become legalised.
like Korge said, if you got the money ready to buy a porsche 911 for the same age you can buy one
I know that a good R34 GTR will cost you in the UK about 40.000 pounds wich is about 90.000 dollar. and they are pretty easy to get in the UK.
the US is a whole other story so calculate some extra there... and looking at your age you most likely won't have anything near that in the near future
so start looking for a new bike cause youll need it!

lol i agree, livin in aus has its advantages....there was this skyline in 1 of my mags, think it was called "dragon" , had acc time of 4.5 secs, could reach 300km and its being sold for $30kboganbusman wrote:Hmm . . . living in Europe must suck![]()
I could import a very nice Skyline from Japan for around AU$20-30k.
besides many pple only want the engine not the whole car, so they by 'half-cuts' for a very cheap price. it comes with the whole engine, gearbox...basically only the entire front of the car
