Take them off and put them into an oil filter crusher.

And then buy some real forks.

Just oil them, if neccesary, mount them off and oil every part, then mount them back on.

WD-40 is not oil!!!

It's only for removing oil/grease/rust and providing very light lubrication for hinges and stuff.

A lot of people make this mistake.

i know it's not oil, but i use it for the doors to stop the squeeking voices and it works. but mostly i like to hold a lighter next to it when spraying the damn thing

screw it, i'm a pyromaniac, i love playing with fire

anyways i'll probably take my bike to service

like Bogan said WD-40 is not oil

I know that in my manual of my fork is clearly states that you need to oil the bushings with a tefon based oil (bushings are the rings around the inner legs so where the inner legs go in the outer legs :D) it also stated that you should NOT use WD40 (it really said it by name)

so ask your bike store what to do... hopefully they fixed it at the check.

my advise is, get a bottle of teflon based oil. you can use it on your chain etc.

can you it almost anywhere on your bike.

but do use it mildly.. and clean stuff before using

That's because you used image tags ([img][/img]) on an URL. Image tags will show images only if you give them a direct image link.

Anyway...
I expected that bike to be more expensive, $685.00 sounds affordable. Tho I hate how it looks like when its in it's normal shape...

Which doesn't mean it's a good bike, I have V-brake Scott Montana (i'll post some new pics tomorrow) and from experience I can say that v-brakes can prove to be as cheaper and in some cases, better solution
