i was watching TV, forgot which show and they were talkin about the Noble M12 and about importing, and they said they took out the driveshaft or something like that, and would send the rest of the car to its destination and ship the driveshaft to the same place and have it esssembled at its destination so it would be considered a "kit car", wonder if you could do the same thing with a Skyline or Silvia? pretty damn good idea if you ask me. but also you would have to have a kit car license.
And as for you having a R34 Skyline for your 1st car, it wont happen unless daddy owns Nissan. You wont even be able to get an R32. Skylines in the US make Ferraris look like massly produced cars. Sorry to break it to you but it wont happen.

I believe Motorex charge $20'000 just to legalise the car. If youre lucky enough to find one, expect to paying upwards of $50k. Then again, if youre importing one yourself, theres the shipping charges (likely to be in the 7-10k region), plus the price of the car itself.
Basically, you cant afford it, and even if you could, you wouldnt be able to insure it for about another 10 or so years.

evilmegamonkey, chill out bro... you can't drive for another 4 years (I think).
Start Saving now, but I doubt you'll get one, and the insurance for new drivers with sports cars is DAMN high.
Best thing to do, is get one when you are 25+ with a £75,000 a year job. Oh, and get a car from wherever you are that's already been imported there.
1 more thing, stick to the model I made for you, It's real sweeeet.

Depends on the skyline and depends where you live. You could pick up a decent HR34 or ER34 for practically nothing in Japan or Australia, easily under $11,000.Jopuma wrote:I heard from a person on TeamVenom you can get one for somthing like $11,000 dollars. Cheaper than a Scion XB and faster and cooler and.........the list goes on.
