I need a spare 20k cash. I will, but not today. I give it 5 years or so. Anyhow, my point is it's gonna happen, and I will only do it to old cars. Not that much in new cars modding, I mean my A4 is pretty much stock right now, just will get the Avus rims or something for summer, nice rubber, and get my motor chip tuned by some 50hp (it's a TDI - so the power gain will be big). That will be it. I am not even sure if I want to keep it for too long. I had my eyes on the Peugeot 406 coupe 2.2CDi. I love that Pininfarina styled pug, but I am scared it will be an automotive timebomb in terms of reliablity.

But some old car will definately get some from me, one day! And there are really a lot of cars to choose from, so I can only look forward that day.

the 406 coupe is nice from the outside, but if u buy one, carry a pic of ur car from the outside when ur driving, just 2 remind u what car it is lol. some of the old jap cars are good for tuning, the fc3s rx7, starion, s13 silvia etc. but ive always fancied an rs500 cosworth (1986)

only problem is, the cosworth costs about 17k, which is expensive considering its age

On the Jap cars in general, I don't know, I am a german-car kinda guy, just been with 'em all my life. Audis and VW's most part. My first car was MK2 Jetta 8v, I know, not too fancy, but in colledge years it's boot did me a good service, it was cheap as hell to run. Gradually I switched from VW (last one being 00 Passat 1.8T) - the reliability is not good. Than it was Audi A4 Avant, which I love so much. So solid, man, no Jap car can touch it in quiality. And it's reliable, has 4 wheel drive and the last one I got is a punchy 1.9tdi. So it's Ingolstadt and Wolfburg all the way. :) The Porsche stands an icon in my heart, and in one model or the other I'll have to get restored... Just all those horror stories on the boxed cars, and such - expensive and almost impossible to find a good one.

My first car that i bought in US. It was a lease, so I didn't do much to it, just lowered and put good rubber on it. It's 1.8Turbo M/T and had premium sound system. Sticker price was at 25k, when i traded it in for A4 avant - a mere 13k. Depriciation inde

Hemi Cuda!!! My favourite! Yeah baby. I saw those things in the states (well, on;y one), but that car is gorgeous. I was reading just now about the car industry in the US in the 40-60 and all of their designs were awesome. I mean incredible technology. DId you know some 1953 BUikc LeSabre had a roof that would aoutomatically go up once the sensors detected rain drops on the car. I mean that's 50 years ago!!!! And it had hydrolic jacks under each wheel that would automatically rise the car when in need of repair. How come that never made into production???! And the car could run on alcohol and petrol at the same time!
And here are the cars you gotta check out if you like those old US cars: Buick WIldcat II, Buick Centurion 1956 (it had a camera instead of rear view mirrors mounted in the tail), Pontiac Bonnevile SPecial 1954, and BUick LeSalle 2. I am telling you, the US car manufacturers should be ashamed they aren't producing anything like that these days.
Sorry for some spelling errors, not at my house, and an old keyboard!

BMW is my favorite. Not that I'm bashing Audi or Benz but BMW is ten times better for me. I really like some Benz like CLK and SL, and Audis like S4.. but BMW is my favorite car.

Here's a pic of M3 CSL. I think it speaks enough for itself.

Audi all the way, the S4 is badass. My mom has the 2004 A8L. That thing drives like a dream, the tranny is the best auto or stick, no clutch. Nice luxery car that im sure could keep up with a Vette. AWD quattro

I saw a likr 8 ltr v12 twin turbo Mercedez with 600+ horsepower, but it was probably so heavy it didn't matter. I voted for BMW.

Mercedes made a 7.3 Litre V12 for the Pagani Zonda. the rest of the V12's are 6 ltr.
or tuned to 6.5 (little under)
like the Mercedes CL64 AMG has 1000Nm of Torque! and something like 600 bhp
