Is lens flare allowed? And what about other effects, like radial blur for the tires and the motion blur effect?

Hey Dragster, you said something about not using lens flare for the headlamps. Well I used the lens flare effect in one of my presentations for SuicideKustom, but it's only for the background, is that ok?

Yeah that's just fine! As long as you don't change the overall appearance of the car, it's ok. Eg: Don't put the lens flare on the headlight, or window.

OK here's a suggestion to the mods.... now there's a lot of crazy phothsopping going around as you know, which isn't breaking the rules as such, but it sure as hell bending them 180 degrees  So maybe one of the mods could PM such people and just remind them that the showroom is about cars, and not presentation skills, not a warning because that maybe a little unfair, but just a freindly reminder, just a thought that's all.

i was kinda referring to the more extreme of photshop use, that's all. Hey I still use phtoshop, to do my presentations, to bring out the car.

Unfortunately, the showroom is the place to showcase their talents on customizing their streeet machine, not to showcase talents on their Photoshop skills. :P

Ya, I know, but adding cool backgrounds and what not helps bring the car out. Which you rather see, the default background, or a little extra pshotoshopping?

The background I can accept changes, but you said 'make the cars look better'. So you're kinda changing the points here from cars to background... ;)

No, I don't do anything to the cars, I'm saying the backgrounds make the cars look better. Get it?

Well, I guess presentation is a paramount then... It seems to me that a good presentation leads to first impression, and a good first impression gets the most credit usually. :P
