i wanna see some drift scores

well I felt all special just a bit ago when I hit my personal record for a drift. when this thread first started I saw fairly realistic scores. I thought I played this game alot, but **** you ppl need to get out more lol!

Even though it's totally insignificant now, I think this is a respectable drift... Eclipse with all level 3 performance parts... (note that I was just trying to get a good single drift score, my whole race score sucks...)

lol last time I won from a guy who had a 600.000 drift, but my overall score was better so I won.. just bij doing 40's and 50 all the time, bij total score was 800.000 in 10 laps... my max was 55.000....
so think he was pretty pissed...

crap thats how im doing

havn't tried in ages because i've been playing other games and concentrating mainly on the top speed record and improving drag and circuit. i can wipe the floor with everyone at my lan in drift so if i get any better they'll think im a cheat

its to damn frustrating for me because i get pissed off when i get to about 8 laps and about 1mill then hit a wall

so annoying!!

I have a vid of someone getting 500,000 chained on track 6. They also had a pic of 1,200,000+ for a chained drift. BTW thanks Ragnar, just keeping whooping your lan people. It's fun to kill your friends at drift.

It's how many points you had on that lap compared to the others.

In this video, which was the first big drift to hit this topic, Dav Vador uses the in-car view in an Eclipse for a 127k drift around track 2.

I'm just wondering what view ppl here are using for drift. While I use the in-car for racing, I tried it once in drift and was totally disoriented! Can I get an opinion or two?

I always use outside view in drift.... but only in drfit, I use bumpercam for all other races... cause I can't drive with outside....

but for drift somehow i liked it.... I think that you can see the track better in comparison to your car...

Ok, here's my first real attempt for Track 2... tried real hard to crack a much better score last night, but it seemed the harder I tried, the harder I sucked! Can't do very much tonite - gotta clean house for a damn rental inspection tomorrow

I have seen aa guy get like 86798957598578989755 on a single drift, but of course, he was hacking.

What is the best car to use for Drifts? Do you modify it? So for my best one lap drift is 91,000 + . I've broken 300,000 total in 4 laps. But I can't seem to keep the Drift going. I feel the best car is the Impreza. I usually drop the Drivetrain to a level 1 or 2. I also drop the ECU to a 1 or 2. The Nitro I drop to Stock. It gives me enough push to keep going, but doesn't slam me into the wall. Also keeps my Control at top notch. I'm trying to get that darn magazine cover for best drift score. Any pointers? I think my highest drift is 60,000 +. But I always loose it.

Also, anyone know how, or has gotten Magazine cover 28? The one that you get when you beat Racer X. I have PS2 but I don't have the on-line hook-up, so not worried about those magazines...yet.[/list]

It seems most ppl agree here that the best car is either the Impreza or the Eclipse. Almost everyone says to max out all performance, but run stock tyres. That's definitely the way I run my Impreza. Note that nitrous has no bearing on drift whatsoever.

Regarding the RacerX thing - there was quite a discussion on GameFaqs about this a while back, one guy even emailed EA and asked them about it. The reply came back, short and sweet "It's a secret."

To this day, I've not seen anything further on this and so presume htat the mystery is still not solved. One thing tho - many ppl believe RacerX is Melissa, who you race in 112/111. If that were the case, then surely you would get the mag cover after winning the race. You don't.

OK, so guess who just busted their personal records for Tracks 1 & 2 wide open?!?! Damn right it's me!!
