erm
What codec pack are you using? If you haven't tried Coda Codec Pack, you should try it.
I also had some problems with normal DivX codecs, BSPlayer just blocked when I tryed to play a specific movie type.
With Coda it worked.
edit: I just realized that isn't the problem
Try using Fraps

Arg, I'm getting sick of this.
I have a problem.. Every videofile I play ( I tried every player ) looks grainy and on the white side. You can see pixelation. However, when I take a screenshot, the screenshot looks normal..
Is this problem familiar? ;_;
It's about the same when you increase in the contrast alot of an image in Photoshop.
Edit: I found the problem.
It was running on low quality. ARG, I want to rip my hair out! >=(
Edit2:
ARG, I want to rip more hair out of my head. >=(
I forgot it looked like shiznit in the other players too, so I took a try with them. And yes, it looked like shiznit! I thought the slight quality decrease in WMP was just normal because I had much on my mind, but now I know it doesn't function normally. -_-
Edit3:
*sigh*
It was a problem with the newest NForce drivers.. Jeez, fixed.
