They won't, you know why? Their first impression when they see a classic NFS would be: "Ewww, bad graphics" (in a childish-pitched voice).

Yeah... Old people (like me :P) grew up with these games, and we followed how the graphics improved. I remember when playing TNFS for the first time, the graphics were awesome (for 1996 standards), but today, it's an old game...

I wouldn't mind... I tried to get it but I can't get it anywhere... I really don't know why I did not get HP2... I got all other NFS games... ok I lost TNFS... only got a expansion pack left...

but think I have to search Ebay for HP2... can't be a real NFS staffmember without having the complete series

Hey people I just registered like a few minutes ago and I'll make my first post here aight? Ok my favorite one is still gotta be NFSSE. Loved the handling, caused me heaps of stress to win a tournament and it showed you the gearstick when changing. I wish I could play it on XP but I don't know what emulator to get for that. :?:

I didn't play a game more then HP1 ...
I was playing it in split screen mode with a friend like eceryday. It was amazing how much fun we had with this game for such a long time. Sure HP2 is great aswell. But the first is just the "original" one. i love it :P It was also my first own game for Computer :)

I've only played Hot pursuit 2 and both NFSU games. I liked the original NFSU the most.

OMG! I love HP2, I think it's the best. The gfx are awesome with such low sistem req.

and all those supercars, and the handling was better, and more realistic than UG series 8)

NFS 1 the only game to ever let you have everycar at the start. besides i think it was the frist game to have a secret car which was the Warrior which went 240 MPH!!!! it wasnt the first to have a secret track tho

Heck yeah High Stakes was awesome. Unlimited color hues available every shade of every color. Realistic damaged, I once knocked both headlights out on the F50 and had to drive in the dark. I also blew out the windshield of the firebird on the desert track when I hit that arch rock. In the Playstation version I flipped my white and blue porsche on kindiak park at the drop off before the lake. This other porsche was right there and we both barrel rolled in midair and when I had a silver beamer the AI took my blueish grey beamer, they were crowding each other on the scottish track as the trees on both sides came up. The blueish grey beamer slingshot up in the air from the cars bunching up and came back down clipping the edge of my trunk. He was facing sideways when he clipped my trunk I broke out laughing. In the PC version they never did that, of course the PC version had Empire City and a few other NFS HP tracks. A police helicopter with spotlight was in that version too, I would hide behind the crates in empire city and the copter would still shine the light through the boxes at me. Make the bacon crash into other cars or objects too. I once wrecked the AI 550 Maranello in the console version too I sent that car somersaulting in mid air front to back. I love that game. HP2 tries to be like High Stakes but it lacks night time weather and total customization not to mention major damage. All they do in HP2 when damaged in leave a smoke trail long enough for 10,000ft plane to see.

Bingo, no real feel for the nostalgia of classic games. Ah memories, I miss some of those old games.

my favourite here would be High Stakes. Can still remember those fun times playing as a cop smashing the opponent into the train in kindiak park, or into the canals in atlantica. Man, those were the days. High Stakes had it all, damage, tuning, pretty good physics and pretty graphics for that time.
