I've noticed a pattern running through the threads here... cars. cars, cars, cars. that's all anyone talks about, the cars we have, the cars we want, which car is better.
it's time for you all to take a break from your car-happy ways and talk about vehicles designed to do more than just move fast. it's time to talk about the kind of vehicles that can tow your precious drag car to the track, run a 12 second quarter mile, go get the lumbar for work tomorrow, and then come back and tow the car back home to the safety of it's garage.
Me? I love trucks. If I won the lottery today, tomorrow I'd be at the Ford dealership I used to work at tomorrow placing an order for an F-250 King Ranch edition with a Powerstroke Turbo-Diesel. Then as soon as i took delivery I'd be hard at work voiding my warranty dropping the full Gale Banks diesel power kit right in there. 460 horsepower, 825 ft-lb of bone crushing torque. And all that while getting around 16mpg... keep in mind that's 16mpg diesel, not premium, that's about 30-50 cents a gallon savings depending on where you live.
And no, i dont live in the sticks of montana. i'm about two minutes outside of Princeton New Jersey.
anyway, enough of my rantings. we all know i love trucks by now, let me know what you think

As far as I'm concerned, a truck is little more than a work horse. I salute the ones that can be fast, but it's just too high up, too big to really be fun, thereby sucking the point out of dropping any money into it (or caring for that matter). I do plan on buying a truck at some point in time in the future (probably a Dakota), for towing cars and other assorted stuff, but it'll be a big appliance for me.
Sorry for the harshness, but my car-happy ways felt under attack.

My parents own a White with Gold trim 2000 4x4 Lariat F-250 with the V8 diesel. I love diving, handles great and make me feel like the king of the road
And when you get your new F250 post pics of it, can't wait to see it. What color(s) is it gonna be? Personaly my favorites are the green w/ gold, & the white/gold
