tuning is taking care of the engine etc.

costumizing is taking care of the looks

btw, the TC1 voting system was the best imo...
The systems are identical except for the fact that you now get a "proceed" page when you vote on a car. But with the speed it loads, it shouldn't take more than 3 seconds per car...

Well, I've noticed I was missing something. If you visit the main TC2 page
http://www.nfsunlimited.net/tuningchallenge2
you should see a link "see your own car" under the current competition day.

To where? All it directs is just to the Commenting page, once you've voted on a car.

I'm a bit disappointed, there was only something like 5 nice looking cars, a big bunch of averidge looking cars and another big bunch of crappy looking cars.

I'm glad there's only 50 entries on day 2.

The only useless thing in the voting system is the proceed part. Otherwise I think it's really good system for this competition.

Guess mine was crappy...
EDIT: OMFG MY CAR DIDN'T SHOW UP!!!!

Great voting system! I love it! You can't see who's it is and you can't see other comments before you vote, brilliant!

But I can't see my own car when I click view own car, I tried different browsers

Should I be worried that I uploaded my 2 cars on thursday but have received a confirmation email only for the one of them ( which I entered for day 2 )?
I still haven't received confirmation for the other car, even though upon uploading it I got a message that the upload was succesful.
If someone can confirm that the second car has been accepted (entered it for day 4), I would be very grateful, cause I need to know whether to re-send it or not. :?

You have one entry in competition day 2 and one in competition day 4.

Most of the times the problem with not receiving our emails is your email provider is either blocking us, or it's considering our email as junk.

I agree.....

And they were not like 5 cars, in fact just 5 looked good. Most of the car were either regular, stupid or crappy, a truly disappointment for me and for a lot of ppl --I was waiting to see something else, stunning fancy cars or racing style, for example.

plus you couldn`t see all the cars at once to rate them. You have to rate every single car even if you dind`t want to rate such horrendous cars. I saw cars that made me want to stop rating, but I kept on going thinking I would`ve find more than five good looking cars
which dind`t happen.

Also I saw edited pics and pics that were not in the "CAR/SELECT" screen.
the rules requires the pics to be taken there, and a lot of ppl dind`t fallowed it.
hope that, for sr3, will be cleared.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------THEY WERE RIDES SO STUPID, THAT I SAW AN SUV THAT WAS DIRECTED...
TO "BARNEY'" AS A CRAK-HEAD (PARDON MY (LANGUAGE) BUT IM SERIOUS...
PPL SHOULD TAKE THIS COMPETITION A BIT MORE SERIOUSLY.....I HOPE THE DAYS
REMAINING WON`T BE LIKE THIS ONE.....

@Bojan: There's a small error in the comments-page.
When you click on the "garage-icon" in the users-post, it doesn't link to his garage.

eg:
how it is in TC2
http://www.nfsunlimited.net/showroom/gallery/master%20m

how it should be
http://www.nfsunlimited.net/underground ... master%20m

Better. The crappier the other rides are, the more possibilities you got to win the competition.

silencestorm wrote:(...)you couldn`t see all the cars at once to rate them. You have to rate every single car even if you dind`t want to rate such horrendous cars. I saw cars that made me want to stop rating(...)
That's why this system rocks. Being forced to rate them all is good.

You need to vote all the cars, not only the ones you like. It's stupid to vote only the good rides... how will be the bad rides bad ranked if nobody rates them? All the cars would have an average rating bigger than 8 Image

Rating all cars > rating no cars > rating some cars

silencestorm wrote:Also I saw edited pics and pics that were not in the "CAR/SELECT" screen.

Maybe those rides should be erased, so that people begin to accept that it's necessary to follow the rules exactly as they are. Strictly, as others like us did.
Even some users took their screens in other garages which are more brightened than the menu screen... and the rules say exactly this:
The image must be an unedited screenshot, taken from the 'Customise Car' / 'Select Car' screen in game.
Paint garage = no
Career mode garage = no
Other places that aren't the Customise/Select screen = no

Imagine that a winner took his screen in the Paint garage, in which the cars look sexier since there is much more light.

One can ask himself: My car could have looked better in that garage. Would I have had more possibilities if I had taken the screen like the winner did?. I followed the rules and he didn't... Am I dumb?

In the end, nobody cares about it: If a car rocks and wins, it doesn't matter if the main screen was taken in the paint garage.

But still...

I expected much more of day one
I have rated 5o cars and put only one 10 so far
(the 10 car that got my 10 really deserved it)
Good luck to all contestants in all the next days

True. Shame I didn't enter my cars for the first day :P

But seriously, I think I had too high hopes for contest. And ofcourse everybody wants to have a try to win this and it's their right.(Dunno if that's good english, but you get it, don't you.)

Ok, I finally see my car and thats good.

And to the people who left teh comments, I wanted to change those things but I was rushing and I so agree that the side skirts, hood, and mirrors don't look good on my Skyline. But i think the rims match well.
