As much as the idea of a big block V8 in a Daytona is appealing (would you be thinking 440, or a crate Hemi?), why not go with the turbo 2.2 route? Hell, there are 4-cyl Caravans running 12 second 1/4 miles, so it shouldn't be any problem to get the Daytona pretty damn quick.

I dont think a 50 year old would think a Turbo is appealing. Hes the kind of guy who seen Warren Johnson when he was a little kid so he would like anything that can smoke a import. and a civic is the least of his worries

the only import he's into is the NSX which i think is american now. i seen them here and there in maryland. whenever he finally gets the car up and running we'll race each other at the track mano-mano 1 on 1 no holds barrel. BTW if you want to see my local tracks their names are

for power he choose the wrong car

cause 150 bhp for a 2.0 supercharged engine isn't much and with the weight of the car...

but they are nice cars... but dull but not bad

Yeah i think Volkswagens (without tuning) are the dullest cars after some japanese family cars.

1974 (?) Plymouth Duster (unfortuantly, it was probably only the slant six, my dad's never cared much about cars)
1985 Pontiac Sunbird
1990 Hyundai Sonota
1993 Plymouth Sundance
1989 Dodge Grand Caravan

1995 Chrysler Intrepid (my parents owned it for about a year before I bought it)

My dads got a

2003 Holden VY SS 5.7litre 350 Chev..Good for 329bhp

Pretty much a Holden Monaro/Pontiac GTO with upgraded front/rear and 4 doors, same interior/engine/rims as a Monaro/GTO

My mum drives a 94 Mistubishi Delica

Its a Mitsubishi Parjero chassis/engine with a van shell.

4x4 2.8L turbo intercooled diesel good for 150bhp maybe?
