I know you didn't say that, but I just noticed you checked some of the pictures, instead of all of them. Thats all :) .

Just trying out a new photoshop technique. These images should look clearer than the Average Jo picture (when enlarged) :)

Alright then. Maybe not the best comparison (I apologize.. due to lack of untouched photos), but here is a before and after shot of how the technique can alter pictures:
Image
here is what I do to get my pictures clean:

1. When taking the shot in GT4, I almost always increase the exposrue to +4 - +6, as well as adjusting the white balance to the red side just a little.

2. Then in photoshop, I go to image, adjustments, levels. Try to move the handles at the bottom of the histogram around to follow the histogram. The left handle should be moved to where the level increases or is at it's peak on the left. The right handle should be moved to where the curve begins at it's minimum at the right. And the middle handle can be moved around to where you like it the best. And you can also move the other 2 around to your liking, but I am just trying to give you a general idea on what to do.

3. After that, I duplicate the layer I just adjusted, and gausian blur it to about 7. I then change the blending mode in the layers pallette to soft light, and adjust the opacity until I like the way it looks. Then I go back to the base layer and apply an unsharp mask filter to it, to sharpen it up a bit. That's just about it.
As said by 440charger on GTplanet.

You can create some incredibly insane photo's using this method, so try and keep it quiet

Wow dude, that is really nice, way better than mine, but . . .

I don't know if it's really 'curvatious'. If you catch my drift.

Like don't get me wrong it's f***in awesome but I'm just not sure if it suits the theme. Maybe you should save it for another week?

Maybe?

Thanks 8)
And I get what you mean. When you look at the photo, the first thing which comes to mind is NOT curves... most likely anything but curves. So I think its a good idea to enter it into an upcoming comp. :P Thanks for the pointer.

Ooh... I totally forgot that you could purchase that car without having to win it (I'm still adjusted to GT3 (And GT2) ).

Good photo's anyway. You should try out the method above ^. I guarantee they will look cool and crisp. :P

Edit: @euronsu: I hope you don't mind... I just found that your RUF pic was a good opportunity for some photoshop fun… so I managed to whip-up something. (Everything used to enhance the picture is capable of competing in the Advanced comp 2.0). Hope you like it!

Nice one. Just fix the aliasing on the side skirt and the top white line and it would be just about perfect 8)
