Yeah the 9800XT is pretty good and quite cheap these days but it's beginning to be an old model already.
So instead of buying a 9800XT i would buy like the Nvidia 6600GT.
Costs about the same or even a bit less and is a much more newer model.
But if you can get the 9800XT cheap i suggest you buy it.
It still is about 2 or 3 times more powerfull than your 5200 .

Thanks for the advice Pabl0z. I'll search for the 6600GT. Then I'll compare them and then choose one of them. Thanks again :D

ahh, but you see, inflation is so high in Bangladesh that even if you do manage to procure a gfx card, the shipping costs will be higher than the price of the already very expensive card. Its far cheaper to go on holiday in another country and buy a card there.

Hey guys, i wanna buy a new card for NFSMW, i have a crappy FX 5200 128mb, its ok, but its really slow and i cant get high FPS in NFSMW, i want to get at least 25+ FPS in NFSMW on 800x600, so which card do you think i can buy for this ? but not to be very expensive please :P

My Specs:

P4 2.4 512 cache
MSI Nvidia FX 5200 128mb
512mb DDR ram

waiting for some suggestions, and please be quick :P

There's not much difference between them.
The FX gives like 10% more frames per second in games.
And the Radeon doesn't have a full DX9 hardware support unlike the FX.
So i'd pick the FX.

Skyline_man:
Well i have a lot older card than you do: Ti4200 :).
But again i'd suggest you buy the GeForce 6600GT.
It's the best bang for buck.
You can get one for like 150€.

as pabloz said FX is better because it supports direct X 9 the 9200 is Direct x 8 so some effects u wont get out of the 9200.
Take a look at this chart it will help u decide wat card to get.

@Skyline_Man : Well i tested the MW demo on a comp from a friend. He has a Geforce 6600GT 256Mb, he can run everything on max settings with resolution 800 by 600 and even 1024 by 768. But increasing your memory from 512mb to 1024 is recommened to run things smoother. And check if your powersuply is compatible with your new card if you decided to buy it.

There isn't much difference between the 2, only the memory and it's a little faster.
