Which Need for Speed had the best menu?

In first place for me would be NFS4:High Stakes. It had awsome animations, a cool color theme, and a multipanel background showing clips of cars, and the manufactorer, much like a car showroom should be. The spinning car platforms and (What do you know) highly reflective bottom was an awsome way to present a car.

Second place would be NFS:Underground. It had awsome music, and l loved how the cars looked (Literally) underground. It was an awsome first, plus it was fast and highly responsive, unlike U2.

I prefer the NFS 3: Hot Pursuit menu. The in-game views of all the cars, the startup movie, and the description of every car.

I'm with you guys, High Stakes without a doubt. The car showcases really impressed me the most, and the animation and lightings are just superb! I don't see any reason why we should quit playing NFS High Stakes, because it's just a simply fantastic game. 8)

High Stakes is my favourite because it had the best showroom feel. But I liked the background music in NFS3hp better for some reason (maybe that's just nostalgia. ;))
The current NFS MW showcase mode is a great addition, combining freelook mouse movement with zoom in/out, make you wonder why it wasn't like that in the previous Underground games.

I'm surprised a few people mention HP2 though, I found the empty black background uninspired, to say the least. :?

Maybe because it is very hard to make it work in XP?

Anyways, I'll go with High Stakes obviously. The worst was UG. It was so bland and boring. The MW menu isn't too shabby either but overall the HS menu rules.

NFS HS does work in XP, you just have to do some modifications to some files and install some patches and it will run perfectly on XP.

I still got NFS HS on my comp. and it looks better then ever I used alot of High poly work in the game from cars to tracks (the tracks are still in the same style but with more detail, so no weird track mods or anything)

Strange, because at the moment I have HS on my PC (With XP). No Additional Modifications or Files were needed.
