What? I thought it was really easyAndre_online wrote:You mean the BE Challenge? It's on the Challenge Series menu. It's the last challenge of all the series, and the most intensifying & difficult race of the entire game.
Trust me... I had to re-start that race more than 10 times before successfully evading them.

Thats it, you said everything else before
oh, btw the final game runs much better than the demo did, more smoothly, lags a very little bit.
Stop teasing me, sadly I'm getting it tomorrow. Stupid check.
Finally...I got the game...MW PC BE. I didn't get a lot of time to play it but so far it looks great. I played through the BMW races up until a bought myself a Golf (strange enough, I had that "Thank you for playing Underground 2. Here's a bonus amount of cash" comment show up and I was able to buy it).
Some bad news...those who had trouble with video cards and settings in MW demo will be dissapointed. The game requires a lot more GPU power and will probably have to turn the settings even lower. So that's why, I'm not playing until I get a better video card to enjoy the game.
I'll probably star the career all over again but doesn'b other me since I haven't done a lot.
I'll have a proper review once I set up properly.
btw, that Camaro is a beast and it has such a powerful noise. The grey BMW M3 GTR "Street" is also an amazing car.

Wrong. This game is eating up serious processing power from the CPU and memory. I have a midrange CPU but a very good Gfx car (6600GT) and my game cant run on med/high settings. This shows in the amount of foliage in the city and the number cops on screen. Not to mention the shadows put a beating on my CPU since I dont like the shadows on low.2furio wrote: Some bad news...those who had trouble with video cards and settings in MW demo will be dissapointed. What makes you so sure I'm wrong? I mean, I was able to play the demo most of the setting pretty much to the max with a crappy video card but now the full thing, I am barely able to play it with medium settings. (currently using a MSI FX5600 at 256 mb...major over-clock)
I am actually thinking of buying the 6600 GT but you're saying I won't be able to run the game at maximum details...not even at a resolution of 800x600?

I can run the game max details on 800 x 600, but at 1280, I end up turning most good settings off like City detail, shadows, and reflections. I just run the game at 1024 with medium settings. I hope to get a faster CPU (3 ghz) next year. Atm, Im running a 2.1 ghz which is pretty sad comparing to the current models.

What are your settings at the moment? Have you tried running them on lowest settings at 1024 pixels?2furio wrote:The game doesn't freeze but I really don't like how the game runs. Stupid video card...oh well...I'll be getting a new one soon anyway. Then it will run better...hopefully.
If it's not about the graphics, then how did the game all of the sudden run better when I turned down the resolution?

game would run alot better if youd unload your system before starting game.
remove all tray stuff, remove all but most critical startup items, do defragment, clean up registry, clean up HDD, increase pagefile memory size(1024Mb recommend) and such.....youll notice a little prformance boost for sure....or sometimes even more then a little.
