what is also great about this is, when u come back in to the race (after where u left in the short cut) u can just finish the race and end up still free roaming cause u didnt acually finish the race. u will end up on the other side of the map. also i have heard of other maps u can do this on. and by the way u just cant turn around and got the other way out of the sprint i just resets u.

That happens in a lot of the sprint race tracks. But NOT the very first sprint race track! It's easier to get free-roam from the first sprint track because:

a. you don't have to scroll all the way to the 16th track.
b. you don't have to complete 77% of it.
c. it's probably already unlocked at the beginning of the game.

In carrer you can free roam but not in quick race like in U2.

The freeroam mode; it shouldn't turn out to be like this. You can't do a freeroam in NFSU2 while in a Sprint race, can you?

. HOwever there's no traffic or cops if you go the other way... Once I tried to go around back and meet up where the racers would be and just reset my car and go over the yellow barrier... I was still -1,300 ft behind haha. Dang hehe
