lmao..u lucky boy..DarrenR21373 wrote:I've only bought one car the whole game - a Golf GTI right at the start.
Since then I've used the cars I've won - up to Blacklist #5 using my Eclipse and Porsche Cayman S for everything.
But the Drag Races are really getting on my nips at the moment - traffic is set so you nearly always wipe out unless you play the same event about 100 times - hope someone will make a "No Traffic in Drag Races" crack soon...
so far in the game i broguht...
Mustang GT (spent around 75k total)
SL500 (spent around 180k total)
Carrera S (spent around 200k total )
i want your luck

man i dont think u know how to handle the gallardo or murcielago. i think the gallardo is mos definatly the sweetest car in the game especially with all the upgrades. after that i would say the garrera gt comes in a close secondAbrams wrote:Tryed Lambo today....man i cant turn with it fast...i mean when i try to send it into controlled drift just around the corner it either wont do it or spins/hit wall....

I haven't tried tuning the Carrera GT yet, so far the best car(everything maxed) has been Lotus Elise by far. It might not be the fastest, but it goes 350+ km/h and even over 300 km/h it handles like a dream also the acceleration is amazing.
And I've only driven it once and I can already say that so far there's nothing like it.

But I am doing Bounty in my GTI coz he is very turnable and its FWD.

Seriously it's excellent. The only minus in it is that if you hit something it slows down more than the heavier cars, atleast that's how it feels like.
I actually had bought the Murcielago in the career mode(a big mistake), but I sold it to buy the Elise. Now I just have to tune it a bit more to get it fast enough.
The car I been using mainly in the career mode is the RX-7 which is also a gr8 car, especially after getting sixth gear, before that the top speed was only 317km/h.

Yep the RX-7 rocks its the 4th or 5th fastest car in the game top speed wise. Its better than all of them agility and performance wise.Felixkissa wrote:Seriously it's excellent. I tried this car, and I must say it drives really good! The handling seems better in tracks w/ lots of tricky corners etc (don't really like straight forward tracks where only speed counts, I love Bayview Summit from NFSU2SliM_880 wrote:Is Lotus Elise really good?
Im very used to the handling behavior of Porches .. so for me is Carrera GT, I think is very balanced between good controled response , good turning without loosing much control and speed , and great acceleration / top speed. Other cars suprases it in some of this aspects like lambos on raw power or lotus on amazing handling, but i think it has the best balance between all this factors.
I want to make a question about junkman parts ... if u apply all the ultimate performance parts from shop to any of the tops cars like lambos , mclaren carrera gt ... they reach the top in the graphic bar of almost all aspects (acc , speed , handling). The question is, if u try to apply a junkman perfornace over an already maxed aspect like turbo junkman or junkman tires on a maxed out carrera gt etc, in screen it doesnt shows any improvement, but has some effect in the car anywyas? the game allows u to apply the junkman part no matter the car is already maxed ... the point is if it has no effect to apply some junkman parts to some top cars of the game ... well the question is kinda chaotic, i hope u understand what i mean

The bars don't matter. The two fastest cars are the Lotus Elise, which out corners everything, and the Porsche Carerra GT, which corners almost as well, accelerates better, and more has top speed (240mph versus 230mph with NOS). I made a video of a 1:35.05 run in the Lotus Elise at Rockridge and Union to demonstrate how fast the Elise can be. Link to the web page I've linked to below, scroll to the bottom, click on nfs9rule.wmv, then on the next page, click on download now.

now a point: best car for what?
if you do a pursuit on a Gallardo or an Elise you'll stop as soon as you try to ram trough a roadblock while an SL500 or an audi A4 would ram trough SuVs like butter, just... they don't turn whr they should.
what is your idea on the best car for a pursuit? I did most pursuits on in the game with an Evo VIII which has a lot of accelleration on low gears , great handling and enough weight to get trough a roadblock intact.
one more question: do the top speed, accelleration and handling bars mean anything at all in the game? I think the best handling car in the game is the M3, it's not that fast by itself but it'll do tight turns at insane speed, very close to it is the RX7, but what the bars say is muche different from what I feel.
do you have any idea on how those bars work?
