i would think yes, but the car must be kept 3 stars - because all uniques are 3rd level parts, and that means you can't use them for lvl 1 and 2.

You can use anything in te game up to the level of the car you're designing (level 1, 2, 3). You can use any uniques you have, including vinyls, but they must come from the game. No custom designed parts of any kind, please...

yeah ok...i allready thougt that if they where useable, they could only be used on a lvl 3 car...a standard car with 20" rims and aDual GT spoiler would look unrealistic

but i'll make some pics of my Eclipse. well, i drive a RX-7

but i'll start with the optical tuning of an Eclipse right now...

there is just one thing i need to be approved...i have replaced all the tire profiles with my home made vynil..is it a problem my tire profile is different?? hope not... :S

Yes the tyre profile is a problem. You need to have everything as provided in the game. Sorry..

Regarding unique parts, you have a good point. Because uniques become available as you progress through the game, some are available at earlier levels then others. Here's how that will be handled...

Unique Hoods - available for level 2 and level 3 cars
Unique Rims - available for level 2 and level 3 cars
Unqiue Spoilers - available for level 3 only
Unique Vinyls - (ie the ones from Samantha) available for level 3 only
Widebody Kits - available for level 3 only

And once again for the benefit of everyone - you must only use parts that come supplied with the game. End of story.

LOL!! Nope - this challenge is all about progressing through the game. Nothnig was ever said in the rules about unique parts not being allowed. The widebody becomes available near the end, so it's available for level 3.

You're quite welcome to bid another free car - this would change your bid away from the one you have already. As well as that bid, you can also put a counterbid on one that's already taken. if that guy misses the deadline, pulls out, whatever, you get the car...

ehm..ok, ill change the tire profiles back to standard... but i dont get why this is a problem? you can only see other lines on the tires..but only if you realy focus on them..but on the other side, standard is standard..so i have no choice...i'll send you the pics tomorrow...

@Aschker - the reason why custom parts are not allowed is because not everyone can use them (consoles for example) and we need to keep the playing field level...

I think it's good to include side, back and front, and have bottom bar visible (star potins, handling bar)....
If we see all sides, it's easier for GT to judge what you used.

Yes you can include smaller pics around the car. Just make sure you stick to the general rules of the showroom. As UrQ says, it makes it easier for me to check the cars against the rules. (Cheers UrQ!)
