As a result of watching "This Is Spinal Tap" I want my stereo, or my radio, or something to go to 11.

I listen to a few Rock artists...

Incubus
Pink Floyd
Led Zepplin
Disturbed
Jimi Hendrix

Those groups I like because I grew up listening to them, well except for Disturbed and Incubus..

Coldplay's song "Speed of Sound" is one of my favorites. Along with U2's "Vertigo" and P.O.D.'s "Goodbye for Now".

My mainstream taste of music is rock, so I mainly hate ( :D ) the tiny tunes of rap and Hip-hop. Anyhoo, some of my favorite bands are:

U2 (Own every Album   )
Garbage ( " " )
Chilli-peppers (for short doses)
Silverchair ( " " )
etc, etc...

Rock music is like oxygen... Need it to survive!

Rock on...

Oh, I hear to it on the radio almost everyday. Edit: Because I am a non-channel flicker. :)
*replaces 'hate' with 'dislike'* :P

@boganbusman: I thought you didn’t like purchasing music :) Aren’t downloads cool anymore?

*ahem* I hear plenty of rap and get yelled at on a regular occasion by my rap loving sister who plays rap as much as possible just to annoy me.

I've heard waaaaay too much rap and therefore it gives me a strong dislike of rap music.

Anyways Skillet is a good band to buy. Their best CD's are "Alien Youth" and "Collide". "Collide" is the best one though. :P

Just picked up the WOLFMOTHER disc this afternoon.. it's rock!! Takes me back to Black Sabbath days (Ozzy era), with a good does of RATM/Audioslave in the mix. YEAH!!

Aussies will probably have seen 'em host Rage a week back, and JJJ did a simulcast recently too.

Sisters are born to annoy you. My sister is 18 and also annoy's me with her pop and rap music. But her stereo is busted so she play's the cd's in her dvd player. To bad my Stereo set has more volume when only using it at 15% then her tv on max :D . I love to annoy her with some death- and grunge metal  . Today i am annoying her with some old Iron Maiden cd's that i bought today (i missed a few of there old one's) and also with some Devildrivers cd's

What I like about rock compared to (c)rap is that rock actually carries a tune.

Anyway has anybody heard the song "Save Me" from Remy Zero? That song is good.

Did I start a trend? Sweet!

As for the whole little sister thing, I've been pretty lucky with mine. We've got similar tastes in music, so she doesn't weewee me off with it. We've even gone to a concert together before.
