This game is backwards

Post by Mac Fraser »

When I first got NFSMW on Christmas and when I first started playing I was getting my ass kicked on like the 2nd or 3rd race having to start over like 10 times! Now I'm #5 on the blacklist working on #4 JV, and this game is starting to get alot easier (at leat every since I won that Gallardo from Ming.) But like I said the races are alot easier I'm smoking the competiton, and with my heat on level 4 the milestones achievements are reached must faster, but the only thing more difficult is evading the cops. But other than that I can't be stopped Razor ain't got nonthin on me.

Maybe it's a way of telling you that you've "improved" your racing skills while you were in town but trust me...on the challenges, it start off really easy and ends up really hard...I mean really hard.

The Gallardo is an extremely fast car way ahead of the blacklists after. It's a very cheap car to use against the dumb AI.

It's nice to see someone else has found the same as me. I found the earlier races a complete nightmare - no matter what I did to my Cobalt, I got my a**e kicked.

I'm currently working through the game, just using my Volkswagen Golf. Even though I struggled for BlackLists Nrs 14, 13 and I think 12 (but not anywhere near as much as with the Cobalt), I'm now at #8 and winning much easier.

It's the same answer again, I'm afraid - Scrooged AI...

EDIT - and my first playthrough, also with a Golf, was much easier - because I used NO Unique parts, the AI cars were much easier to beat.

I used a stock punto all the way to #12. Then a stock A4 to #9. So in my opinion, it wasn't that hard to beat the opponents...

So is it true it is easier if you use bone stock cars???

I find in some cases to AI do degrade, but keep anything that gives them the edge. Sometimes it can be harder, but sometimes it can work in your favour...

But remember, toolbooths have set times... have fun with a bone stock ride.

It also amuses me that at the start of the game when your car is pretty stock, you always seem to be put up against things like Supras & GTO's - which are much quicker stock than the start cars
