Portfolio Website -- WIP

Ok, so I'm trying to setup a portfolio website to show off my 3D work, game art and game design. At the moment I'm trying to think up of a name for it, after all I will be buying a domain, so I need to make sure the name for my website is perfect before I do so.

Here's what I have so far:

- Ibrahim Wahab

- Infinite Dimension

- Sub Dimension

- Sub Element

- Fat Edge

- Bad Touch

- Sir Ibi.... erm maybe not

Anyhoo, I just want your opinions and possibly suggest some ideas too.

I'll be using this thread to slowly build up my website... so you guys can see the work in progress and perhaps help me along the way. Thanks

Well, i like Sub Element most, but how about Infiniti-Element?

Thanks for the input guys... I found a site already called InfiniteDimension.com but when I enter the site, it goes all tits up

probably just my browser... anyhoo I've just made a really quick logo for infiniteDimension... but one problem... I just realised it looks like a rip off of Id software

I'll be doing some more logo designs for other names, see how they turn out.. still along way to go yet

hey, not bad... but I was thinking of a more clean look... I've been working on it myself... just been playing with photoshop of possible ideas for menus and such..

Since this isnt a company, you might want to use your first and last name like most professionals.

I guess if I call it after my name, then people will now its a portfolio site right away... plus i don't spend hours faffin about trying to think of a catchy name... thanks for the tip, Korge

http://www.eastonchang.com is probobly a first and last name. The site itself is very kickass, and the name isnt exactly catchy, so l think you should work on substance before flash (No pun intended).

Well I've decided to name the site after my name - Ibrahimwahab.com - Korge was right, that it sounds more professional being my name.

BTW the site looks very nice, but I won't be doing any stuff on flash for the time being. Lets see if I can get the HTML version ready before anything else.

Just another quick one... I think this is the template I'm gonna go with, just need to start putting together some content, then it'll be all good. Plus I need to wait for my wages to come through, so I can buy the my domain and host. BTW, does anyone know of any good quality Host and Domain provider, preferebly one company.

lookin spick and span

I've been trying to make one, same way as your are through simple html, and just slicing the images. Only problem is I still dunno' how to get it working

Your gunna need Dreamweaver if thats what your planning on doing.

specailising mainly in environmental work.

Learn to spell helps alot in a portfolio, and post some pictures of fully textured environments if you want to be a level designer.

lol, ye I my spelling is really crap... But I'm gonna double check everything before uploading it all. And I do have finished work to put up, but I'll be putting that on the Gallery section, when that's done.
