Crap name competition?

Post by jacoja06 »

Hey everyone

I was day-dreaming today (Which wasn’t about bananas and monkeys this time)… and I was thinking about my username… jacoja06… pretty crap isn’t it?

That’s why I was thinking about some sort of competition (Maybe just a once in a lifetime thing) for people who are not all that pleased with their current username. (Could be a competition about pretty much anything) so the winner is able to change his/her username, for the first and last time. 8)

Is it a capable idea?

Funny idea.
I am actually quite content with my name (although people think I am Japanese food). But oh well, maybe I would change it into Sukii. :)

How exactly are people supposed to change their names after they decide on a new one? :|

The mods won't let you change it, and if a ton of people start making deactivation requests, I'm sure that that won't please them either.

I wouldn't change my name, not at all... I'm proud of it. :)

It's certainly capable, and I'm sure bojan wouldn't mind just changing one.

Remember it's only one name, and why would people start deactivation requests?

But don't you see, once one person gets their name changed, heaps of other people will want to as well, and the mods will be bombarded with requests. That's why they never ever do it, not for anyone.

I dunno, maybe they will make an exception for one time only, but I wouldn't hold my breath

I cannot see mayhem like that happening. The greater the ambition for the name-change, the greater the effort they will put into the competition. This isn't exactly a random free giveaway, and if it were, then I can understand where your coming from ;) .

Shall we take a journey to the kiss-up thread? :P

God I hate names with numbers, I honestly don't find it very well seeing. It's like saying... "Hello, I'm looking for Mr. 6475."
No offence.
