agrees with tunerfreak, and performs same action. That speaker set-up and case alone are more than my rig! + or - a few. even so, where did you get that kind of money?

What's so crappy about Asrock?
I have an Asrock mobo, don't have any complaints.
And if you didn't know, Asrock is basically Asus.

Here's my rig, which is starting get old. Still runs good though, but it has reached it's upgrade limits (mobo doesn't support cpu's bigger then I already have, or faster memory, or pcie). I most likely won't be doing anything to this anymore, instead I'll get a completely new set.

MSI KT2 Combo
AMD XP 2400+ (default 2.0 GHz)
1 GB DDR400 (though running at 266, since that's the limit on my mobo)

AGP/PCI slots, top to bottom
PNY 6600GT 128MB AGP (not oc'd)
Extra USB-port bracket
Buffalo WLI2-PCI-G54S High Speed WLAN Adapter (hardly visible in the picture, connects to Telewell EA2000 WLAN Router/ADSL2+ modem)
Creative SB Live!
Hoontech Digital I/O (for digital audio)

HDD: 200+160+160 ATA133 (two of which are mounted in the top 5 1/4 slots, behind the "added" intake fan on the front panel, I kept having way too hot HDD's otherwise with them all squeezed to the bottom of the case)

LG DVD+-RW/Dual Layer.

Cambridge Soundworks Digital 2.1 speaker system

It most certainly does. Even though the airflow passes through two "warm" hard drives it still manages to drop my overall system (motherboard sensor) temperature 3-4 deg C. The HDD's themselves are running a lot cooler then they did when they were mounted at the bottom very close to each other and no fan blowing at them; a good 30 deg C cooler! They were at about 55-60 degs C, now they are at 25-30 deg C. Huge improvement.

I finally decided to move them to the top, and mount the intake fan in front, when I had two total hard drive failures inside a couple of months (warranty valid, luckily). Definitely worth it. And the fan is near silent too; first of all it's a high quality Nexus case fan and it's also spinning a bit slower then it could (I'm not feeding it full 12V, only 7V).
