Since R34GTR and jacoja06 are dueling it out against each other, why not just have a thread just for the nurburgring records? And to start it all off, I'll post my crappiest record ever... Oh and this thread will be updated with everyone's times, and their cars...

1. R34GTR - Sauber Mercedes C9 - 5.04.042
2. _cant_stop_ - Sauber Mercedes C9 - 5.09.604
3. jacoja06 - Audi R8 - 5.26.425
4. njspeedsta - Toyota GT1- 5.58.xxx

Hey, we all start somewhere :P The fastest I got when I was still using automatic transmission was probably 12 minutes with a DC5?

i pulled a 7.12.xxx with my 360 hp Amuse S2000, and a 5.58.xxx wit a toyota GT1 in black.
i do consistant 7.50's and under with all my cars

Btw, it should be more then just the nunburgring IMO... because R34GTR and I are beginning to narrow it down to it's last legs.
If we get to a stage where we cannot subtract further times from each other, then we may need a new curcuit to begin with.

How about a frequently updated table for the opening post? :P

My personal best around Der Ring was with an org setup JGTC Supra in 6:24ish...a long time ago

Ok... I'll be coming back with a 5'20.000 hopefully.
And I think I should change my car to the Toyota also. The R8 is awesome for handling, but not so great speedwise.
How do you guys set your gear ratio's? I'm about an 18...

Edit: I came soo bloody close tonnes of times, but my great runs always end in tears (On the final few corners)... I'll get you soon :twisted:

it would be cool to make comps... like the chop comps...
every week a new track with anouther car and settings... :wink:

Yeh maybe, but for now this battle is still hot!

I'm doing the 24Hr Nurburgring race to get the F1 car, then i will see how fast that is, then, i can win the F1 GT championship and get the Sauber C9 :D

Instead of the original 5:20 I was aiming for, I now have to chase a time 4 seconds quicker.
Sauber it is for me then 8)
