Golf GTI = Carrera GT... wtf?

Well, I first saw results in here that showed that a Golf GTI could go faster than an RX-7.

I tested it, and wtf it was... sadly true "I dont like the golf"

Then I tested it vs the carrea GT.

The tiems were... the same. Approximately.

I dont get this, how stupid can EA be?
I mean.. is this real or can anybody else confirm this?

Shoot, why dont they make tuner, exotic, and muscle race ddivisions instead of making them fairly equal.

I mena, that friggen golf could beat a lambo, wtf?

Are you taling about online with peformance matching on, or offline or unranked online with peformance matchin goff. With peformance matching on, the cars power, nos, grip, ... are set to the same level or a bit less than the BMW M3 GTR.

No, its not supposed to be like that. Golf's are nice peppy little things, but they're not godly fast or anything. Well, not usually. It shouldn't spank an RX-7 and definitely not a Carrera GT.

just the sound of that is wrong thats not possible just wen u think EA could not make another mistake they do.
This reminds me of that corolla in U2 it corners better than all the other cars in the game that is wrong!!!!

Go try it yourself!!

Go put all MAX parts, no performance change, no junkman.
On RX-7
On Carrera,
Then on Golf

I raced on Industrial & Bristol

THe RX-7 got like 2:02
Carrera got like 1:58
And like the Golf got the same, but off by a few MILISECONDS.

Well, go try it. The golf and Carrera should be matching...

Well that's EA for ya. Even offline, if you put all the parts on every car, they will all have fairly similar performance. It doesn't matter if it's a Golf, Cobalt, Murcielago or McLaren...which is pretty sad...but it's EA...so..I just stick with exotics...

One thing that i have noticed is that if you take any car in the game and pot on the ultimate tuning + all junkman parts, the cars get equal fast but the handling is still different from each other.

CGT is still faster in my experience, but the GTI is still very fast ...
