Hey kekum, thanks for posting the South African 'Blaster' pic - I've been there quite a few times and people always talk about their existence, but till now I'd not seen any evidence of the system. I tell you what - they really need this kind of thing there - damn it's a nasty, violent place...

btw - what's the scoop with the pic itself? Do you notice how the black background seems to shimmer? Weird...

my sisters del sol wasnt that sweet but ya know, it had stuff done under the hood, cb hood, big spoiler, nice rims, it was nice. she curently has a 2004 mazda3. SWEET!

My friend had one - VTI, 94, blue CRX, with the roof that is automatically removed and is sotred in the trunk (rare version). I loved that car, especiacially when past 5k it screaaaaaamed like hell. Love that 1.6 160hp engine. I think I got the pic of it somwhere on a car show... will look it up.

Yea CRX's are really great cars, especialy the V-tec models, the older ones can reach 60 in just over 7 seconds, not bad for a 1.6 engine! Anyway, bad news on the car (yet again). Despite a promise that it was to be ready to pick up today...its not. 'early next week' is the estimate now....im gonna be seriously pissed off if they dont give me my car back soon lol

apparently hes 'busy'. In all fairness though, he shouldnt have taken the car in the first place if he was too busy, and hes had the bloody thing for two weeks. Ill have forgotten how to drive by the time i get it back lol. At least hes agreed not to charge me for actually storing the car there, so thats a bonus

Yeh it's tough to wait eh? When I was a young pup I bought a S/H TD Cortina - wasn't much, but it was a big step up from the Beetle I traded on it. Pf course the thing turned out to be a huge lemon - only had three shocks, blew buckets of smoke etc.

So I thrashed the guts out of it for a month or so, blew the head gasket and nailed the water pump, then took it back to the dealer to get it fixed under warranty!! Thought that was pretty clever. Apparently, so did the dealer - he kept the car for four months!!

In the end it worked out fine though - reco motor and new shocks all round - didn't need to lay a spanner on it for years!!

Then a mate wrapped it round a pole...

a few weeks ago i saw this funny thing, one evening, I was watching out my window and saw some guy walk up to a volkswagen golf and he was doing something at the cars door, i think he had a crowbar or something, anyway he got the door open hopped in quickly and drove off with it, when got to the end of the street he was about to turn, and he just drived against the dumpster. Bang!!! and then the cops came.

My friend and coworker went to Canada for skiing, and caught a guy trying to steal the ski rack of his Accord. So my canadian friend (dude is big) kicked the shiznit out of him, and actually almost got himself charged with an assault. The cops just kinda said "he attacked you right?" and the guy said 'yes". Nothing like the pleasure of hearing a thief being kicked the shiznit off. Muhahaaa.

here in Holland ihe would be charged with assault... man even when you kick the shiznit out of a burglar... in your own... you can be in big trouble here... stupid laws we got here
