Rivals Pink Slips

Is there any faq on what question marks (?) to select to get the pink slip of the rival you just beat?

I read the faq in this forum and it says you can only have 10 cars in your shop in career mode, but i've seen save game files that have more. Is there a way to get more cars in the shop?

1) there have been many speculations that the pinkslips are in a certain order, but to no avail. it appears that they are at random.

2) by default, the pink slip cars don't count towards the 10 in your garage. however, if you want even more, hex editing is the way. here's the link to a guide: linky!

If you get the first pink slip car at the first (?) mar then the next one will be at the second (?) mark and the next one at the third (?), then it starts over from the first (?) again and so on. But if you shut down the game the order of the pink slip cars i changed and you need to locate the first again, after you find it they come after each other as above again.

for me the cars seemed to be in the middle icon usually (usually meaning half of the times). But sometimen it wasn't.

I just close my eyes, then pick the first question mark I look at after I open them. It's worked for all but 2 cars so far (I just beat Kaze, and got her car).
