I think he was ok if I remember it well.... it was spectacular thats fur sure.... if you seen the movie you know what a wrong downforce setup is....

I think it was F1 driver (McNish?... not sure) who drove. Just type GTR Lemans 1998 Mercedes accidedent, Mercedes takes off at LeMans, comon man!

yeah I also saw it on the television. I remember it had to do some thing with overtaking. ow I know it again! If the GTR went behind an other car to slipstreem there was no downforce on top of the car so the wind went under the car and give it a ride to the moon.

But now back to the main thing about this topic! I think that the gamemakers did this because it's an ARCADE game. the game isn't really about making a good setup for your car it's just racing.

that's the explenation I think!!!!!!!!

what? there was no overtaking, the car was just travelling at high speed and it took off. And now I think of the driver, I think it was Jonny Herbert. But it was definately 98 LeMans, as Eurosport just did a think on it a few days ago.

yeah, they all do LeMans once they get kicked out of their initial sport. Even one of my favourite rally drivers, Colin McRae is doing LeMans in a Ferrari GT class this year. Go figure.

And ppl like Alan McNish, who were not so good in F1, are multitime champions in the LM series... Truth be told, WHOEVER these days drives the Audi powered cars has a winning formula. R8 won 3 years in a row, and last year when Audi didn't run official manufactureres team (they will this year) - Bentley, part of VW group, was powered by the Audi R8 motor. And Won in style

I think I will watch the race this year actually.
