Corrado's are firetruck brilliant. I had a VR for a few months before I bought my M3, and utterly loved it. Pretty much unmodded besides a sus drop, OZ Super T's and a few engine mods (Schrick manifold, cams, CAI, exhaust) and it could waste a Impreza in a straight line OR drag.
The Audi is now cleaner, and chipped by MTM. I will post pics as soon as my PC wants to start recognising my Camera again.

If its the 1.8T GTi, then its a pretty good drive an highly modifiable. If its the older 2.0 16v or 8v, I personally dislike it.
I'd happily race on a track. I haven't track dayed the Audi yet but it was Dyno'd by Awesome at 312.3hp and 281whp, with 332lb ft, and with the chip that should be pushing 350/315 and 360.
I will get a copy of the dyno sheets in once my scanner starts working again.
I've certainly noticed a pickup in the pace of the car, and wouldn't be suprised if its hitting in at sub-5-sec 0-60's now.
Next investment is going to be a cage, so far the only mods have been chip, OZ Super T's and strut brace (by me) and the entire RS2 upgrade pack, sus drop on KW V2's and RS-Spec Porsche/brembo 4-pots that were standard on the Estates (previous owner)

Whoa! the 2.9 VR6? that's 190bhp

I will have to make with a "simple" 2.0 16V , 136bhp :P It's a damn old, loud thing

Yeah, the 2.9VR. The most fun you can have powered through the front wheels. Passive RW steering, a great power curve, mountains of torque and the nicest engine sound around.Brilliant fun, wet or dry, and really had alot more go than most torqueless Jap wonders can cope with.
AND it was comfortable.

Damn, I'm gonna be using the public transportation for while. On monday another car crashed on the front and left side of my car.
The whole lefthand side plus bonnet, fb, lefthand headlight, some parts from the enginebay, both lh side rims, front wheel hub and shock and also the wmic has to be changed. The estimated cost for all that repair is 10k€, but coz it wasn't my fault the insurance company is going to pay it all.

Ouch! Unlucky Felix
I've been remarkably lucky. The only claim I've ever made on insurance was when I was learning to drive, so my No Claims is huge :)

well actually it's not my insurance coz I didn't cause the accident. So it's the other guys insurance that's gonna pay it all and it doesn't affect my bonuses(I think :) ) or payments.

I'll try to take some pics on monday.

well here's some pics of my car:
ImageImageImage

also now it looks like I'll be taking the 10k € "in cash" and get it repaired my self, that's because the repair bill was going over 10k € and the insurance company wasn't willing to pay that much and I would've had to get another car.

Also what you think about this:
ImageImage

I'm thinking of powdercoting the rims black. These rims are for wintertyres.

I might be buying a 1996 Suzuki Swift 1.3 GTi as a fun side project seen as the Audi is financially ruining me :)
Plans would include cage, Recaros, sus drop, 16" OZ Record alloys, Forged pistons, manifold and gas flowed head, chip and uprated exhaust. Shouldn't cost much in comparison to the Audi and will be a good fun car to chuck round a track.

Well Sparco, you never know if the Eclipse is his car, like you said there are always people that do have a exotic or something.
but that does not take away the fact that the car is riced :P

Btw nice a Corrado, as long as you don't make it a ricemobile :P cause many people do that here with corrados, and worst thing is, they get a 2.0 and badge it with a VR6 logo
in general they are nice cars

I went to the Toyota dealer and have finally "ordered" a Celica.
Ordered is a big word, because I will get a second hand one, a new one is 1) not for sale anymore 2) way to expensive.
As soon as they can get their hands on a Blue or black Celica with Airco and and preferebly leather seats, and ofcourse for the price I want to pay

A T-Sport (190 bhp version) is still to expensive, but if I can get it for under 15.000 I will probably take em 8)

It looks pretty good, absolutely not my style of car, to posh for me but he I can understand you like it.

have fun with it.

I was reading some of the specs and thought he for a US V6 it isn't bad with 200 bhp, but then I noticed the curb weight of 1584 kg  that thing would cost a fortune here in road tax.

I bought it from a guy who just moved from Georgia.... He's in the military and he is going to buy a truck so he sold it for cheaper than it should be considering its only a 2000...

Its not actually my car officially. It will be in July though. My dad and I drive it...Even though he has his own Firebird... lol
