Christ, I would really appreciate it if people would stop requesting 150 ____ing cars with differently handling. Obviously, we wouldn not like to wait 2-3 years for the next NFS game, NOR see EA go bankrupt or something, spending so much money on all the licenses and paying their employees making 150 frigging cars.

Personally, I think visual customization should go (at least street-tuning customization), and put more emphasis on performance tuning. The "packaged" tuning had been getting on my nerves for the past 3 games. I'm wishing that the next NFS game will basically be an amped-up version of NFS Hot Pursuit 2, but emphasis mainly on the cop aspect. You should able to command your backup (a la HP2). Offline co-op campaign mode would be absolutely a blast. Also, the idea for competing online as a team would be ace. 4v4 Cops vs Racers? I'm in.

I could really wait 2-3 years for an NFS game that for once would actually be complete :)
And btw, the risk of EA would go bankruptie is extremely minimal you know? I've read their budget thingie goes up to 3 milliards (billion for you non-english-speaking US people). Dunno if it's true or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if it actually was teh truthie.

And I would really appreciate it if certain people would stop saying that we should go and buy GT4 or Foreskin (something like that, anyway) to those of us who do not own a console and have &^*% all intention of buying one! :)

And I agree with PB - I would happily wait for 2-3 years for the next NFS if it was completed properly and actually had the features I want to see.

End of rant :D

I could not agree with PB and Darren more.

I would happely wait 2 years or more for a good big NFS game instead of a game that was build in 1 year after the previous nfs game (I know they start working on it before the previous NFS game is in stores) but 1 year to fix all mistakes and add new ideas based on consumer ideas (our ideas)

I would like to see them work a extra year on it.

Btw you don't want realistic car performance and physics cause the fun of the normal street race to be lost.

reason? a car that handles realisticly looses the fun level, ofcourse a bit more realistic is never a bad Idea.
but in police chase game like MW, a car that is hard to control (like a real high power tuned sports car) is a real problem in a chase, cause you will be caught in like 1 seconds.

And I want something with muscle cars, like Motor City, but not Online  :P Unfortunately, they (muscle cars) weren't in this survey  (or I wasn't reading carefully  ) And cops don't fit so good to this type of game... But perfomance tuning would be nice there, just imagine 700HP Dodge Charger on drag-track :D But in 100% I DON'T WANT 150 cars (even dream-cars), all handling same, I prefer 25 cars with completely different handling

P.S.

I hope that my post is quite understandable

I prefer 50 cars with a lot of customizations than 150 cars for some reasons :

1- 50 cars force the player to play with new cars, it's not a bad thing.
2- 50 cars x 8 bodykits = 400 "cars"
3- Imagine playing nfs and finish the game with 150 cars. :P I know it's crazy but I like to test each cars. In this case, 150 cars would be cool if they put off the unique stuffs (I must say than I think than unique system is stupid).
4- If there is 150 cars, that don't mean than your fav one will be in. Imagine a game with 150 cars but without skyline? I bet you'll say the game will suc*.

About 2-3 years to make the game :

1- The really bad thing about this is than when the game come out, the gfx engin is already out-dated 'cause they start the game 3 years ago. A nfs game at each year is a + for people with a lower gfx card.
2- I must sadly say than too much people will cry if it happen. Too much people shiznit on EA 'cause it take too long. I still don't understand why, those kids are stupid. :)
3- The good thing about this is than you have a more completed game in term of quality (storyline, less bugs, better LAN/online, etc)

-=My two cents=-

(Sorry for my english quality) :P

WELL SAID. BUT I THINK THERE SHOULD BE AT LEAST 60 CARS IN THE GAME. THE COPS ARE CHALLENGING ENOUGH. LOL :). BUT REALLY, WHY DID THEY TAKE OUT THE SKYLINE IN MOST WANTED REGULAR?

All i have to say about this whole controversy is that NFS-MW have already dissappoint me enough so, if there is going to be another NFS game i hope they don`t mess it up like they already did with this last nfs game.

150 CARS????

That is just ridiculous.just imagine how many racing you will have to do to unlocke
all of those cars. Unless you cheating or don`t have a life, it will take you a lifetime
just to finish the game and i don`t know about you but i will get f--k--ingly boring of that game.last time i rememeber finishing a game that long was gt3...and beliveme i got so sick and tired of that game that i never played it again...GT4?? i just cheated with the "code braker" to see all of the cars and even like that it took me 1 hour to see all of the dam cars..if that is what you want in a nfs game you are either "GAME CRAZY" or don`t have a girlfriend.

CUSTUMIZATION????

Definitely should stay. One of the thigns that fail to fulfill my expectations of NFS-MW was the lack of custumization that the game had.In NFSU2 there was number of over 70 BILLIONS!!!!!!!!! car combinations which made the game so unique and so "IMAGINATION CHANLLENGING" that still made me want to play the game.NFS-MW on the other hand and judging by my own numbers, was reduce to at least 1/8 of the numbers of car combinations plus some of the racing modes that were so good in the previous games were left out of the new edition, such as drifting, url and street x...this features made NFSU2 more fun and would `ve made NFS-MW even more fun to play if they would`ve stayed in the game.

2-3 YEARS TO MAKE IT????

thats a long way to see the next nfs game but i`ll probably buy it for my grandchildrens or something.....hahaha!!!!.....just joking, but i still think is a long time to make a game but well if that is your dead line i can`t say nothing about it
but this>>>>DON`T MESS IT UP!!!!!!!PLEASE!!!!<<<<<<<

Drifting was fun, although the tracks in U2 simply sucked, they where or to long or simply crappy build but most of the times a combination of BOTH
downhill driftin was good, have to give them that.

IMO drifting in U1 was alot more fun, the tracks where better suited for it. not to long and good corners.

Don't even get me started on street X, there was only 1 car that you could propperly use and that was the Corrolla.
the rest was to big or had fwd.
and in general I did not like it. it was drifting without going sideways.
And I always skipped the Street X races exept for the first 1 cause you could not skip it.

And URL... the "Official race track was nice, could have been better made but he.
But racing on a airport that is fully running.... RIGHT!! you suposedly brake in and race there whitout anyone seeing you.... UHUH!

apart from that, the tracks where not logical, why do you go to a airport..???? well because you got loads of tarmac and loads of space. and what do they do... make a bloody narrow track loaded with 90 deg corners and they say he lets race here.... :S

MW has it's flaws... but IMO it is better then U2. slightly less ricey and but more back to the roots!
