Videocards.. which to buy and whatnot.. simply videocards!
Well, most 6200s come with 64-bit memory, so I would stay away from those ... and the ones that come with 128-bit memory (i.e. BFG), usually cost about as much as a 6600 ...
I wouldn't buy a 9600XT because it's 2 years out of date ...
If you're looking for a budget card, I'd say either a 6600LE or an X1300 ... However, if you save up a little more money, you'll be a lot happier ... Vanilla 6800s are cheap as hell right now, some going for under $150 ...

Those numbers hardly ever tell you much.
But weren't you talking about a normal 9600 before and not a 9600XT?
There's quite a bit of difference.
The 9600XT would probably give you a couple of frames more but i wouldn't count on it on the newest games.
But if you play fps-games at all get the 6200.
For example in CS 1.6...
My friend had almost exactly the same computer as i did but i had an old Ti4200 and he had a 9600XT.
I got like 30fps more on average than he did.
And it wasn't because he would've had bad drivers or anything because the guy knows more about computers and gaming than i.
And i'm pretty sure on newer fps-games the difference at least the same.
Between the 6200 and 9600XT that is...

lol wut
Hmm... I don't play much FPS except for Halo.
I beleive the 9600XT is on the same level as a FX5700U
And on Halo a website said that my friends FX5700U is only one frame away from the 9600XT...
And on UT2004 they were only 5 frames apart and the 9600XT scored higher, again.
Wait... Doesn't the 9600XT come with a free HL2 purchase?
