Yeah, it was about due a ressurection
The fastest I've reached is 183mph, that was 6th gear redline on the long straight at Castle Coumbe a couple of weeks ago, on the GPS box rather than speedo (which gets a bit innaccurate after 150mph

Was driven @ 225km/h in my uncles Mercedes SL500

heheheh.....205 MPH. What car did i use? heheheh...... at a dealership that has super Ã¼ber cars. the car was a Ferrari F430. Later on i test drove the Lamborghini Murcielago. DAMN it was fast.

Next car i plan to test drive: 2006 Mercedes SLR McLaren or an Ariel Atom.

Beat my all-time top speed at Combe again. Hit 186 in 6th, but its scary and very very loud. Thats just under 300kph.

Fastest I've driven - 145km/h in a Holden VC Commodore Wagon [anyone in Austraila knows that these things are tanks and getting past 100 in a 24 year old car is anything but easy]

Fastest I've been driven - Off the needle in a 1985 Mazda 323 hatch. It hit 180 and the needle couldn't keep up. From the whine of the engine me and my friend estimated 210-220km/h. Did it once, never did it again.

Just a note: IF YOU SPEED YOU ARE A MORON. DONT DO IT! I've seen people killed and I mean literally seen people killed, dead, bodies, because they were speeding. Do. Not. Speed.

Its not possible, unless it was a turbo. In which case I REALLY wouldn't want to do 220kph in it.

Tell me how it isn't possible? Not trying to be offensive, but I'd like to see your reasoning behind this. Hell my 81 Datsun Sunny would probably hit 180 with little to no trouble. All you need is a fair stretch of road.

And I'll admit now, it was an extremely stupid thing to do, but its not impossible.

That works out at 137.5mph. The car isnt physically geared, nor does it hold the power to travel at that speed.

I just got out of my friends car and my head is spinning, 156mph on 95N his friking vette is stupid fast, i don't even know how fast we got to 100, but we were crusin at 130 like it was 55

I've only driven around 140km/h because that was the max speed of my friend's Nissan Micra

I would've lost my license with that speed anyways.
The road had a 80km/h speed limit.
I'm not much of a speedfreak.
I don't even drive that often.

Edit: Oh and i dunno if i've ever been driven faster either.
I was a passenger in a rally car once but we were driving around some small dirt track so the car didn't go that fast.

When I was young and stupid I hit 125 MPH (approx 210 KMH?) in my 1988 1.8 Opel Manta on the A3 (by the speedo), downhill with a following wind!

As I need my licence for my career, I now very rarely exceed (**cough** 90 mph **cough**) speed limits, honest Officer.
