Last time I heard it was about 450K. There's one at a dealer here in town and when I went to go see it I didn't bother even touching it. There were only two people in the dealer that even knew where the key was.

Grand total of 1.5 million down the drain.....

The Carrera GT is about $500,000, if I'm not mistaken.
That is a LOT of money here dude. With that ammount i can buy around 8 or 9 Mazda's RX8.

Wow. People who have enough balls to buy THREE Carrera GT's AND race them.
i agree with you, because if you buy carrera's gt's your crew will be "invincible" or if you have only exotics (lambos, porches, aston martin, emmm...ferraris?, etc) ufff..imagine to race against a tuners crew, a lot of advantage...

bah..since when will that be a problem for the ones that race tuners??the catch up feature(that "wonderfull" thing) will probably make a clio race a carrera gt with even odds...

ea should include an option to disable it...

so.. NFS:C isn't really looking too good in my opinion

PROS:
Cop chases are back
50-100 Cars (yea right...)
Exotics

CONS:
Tuner Teams
Nighttime
Variety of Cars = CatchUp
Canyon Racing = not the best

can't really make up my mind if it's worth buying the way it stands....

ehhh... not really...

NFS was about racing, pure arcade racing. all these are just... distractions. i dont mind canyon racing, but actually having to worry about falling off? since when did NFS become a simulation game?

sounds like carbon's gonna be a lot harder than most wanted. LaPierre's description of the Canyon racing implemented in the game "you have to take the hairpin turns, drifting as close to your opponents bumper as you can without actually hitting him, which is an automatic disqualification" makes it sound uber hard. although, maybe it'll be easier with speedbreaker.....

i know i'll get yelled at, but i do agree with LaPierre on drag racing. yea, it was fun. but it got really boring after a while. true drag is boring time after time after time. now i dont agree with the decision to totally eliminate drag racing from the game, but i do see his reasoning.

Hopefully, it will be realistic with no speedbreaker or something. At least have some kind of realisticality so that people will find that this situation can be somewhat believable. But what thing I'd like is a life playable thing.

Garage full of cars similar to GTA's safe house.
Outfit - If you're in a racing crew or something
Free run around cities
Ability to get out of car and buy parts at stores
Having ability to see the undercarriage of the car while upgrading etc
The 24h day, cop probability etc
If busted by cops, low chance of losing car, and taking X% of money.

To the cars...
Diffusers - A MUST.
NO RICE WINGS, REAL downforce spoilers
CF provides reduction in weight, parts like rims, body kits, doors, trunks, hoods, gas covers, brake pads etc
Exhaust - side or rear
Engine, or front clip conversions, sorta like sileighties
Lifelike rims, no edited counterparts
Tire decals, different treads for different races...
No spinners, neons, ICE, anything not having to do with race
Rollcages, those are nice too.
Mid engine conversions for cars
Hood scoops available only to MR or rally cars
Some real JDM kits, JGTC kits, DTM kits, Abflug/Curve/Veilside kits (MW provided an accurate portrayal of the DTM TT, but that's all), in general, real body kits and fuly functional cosmetics.

I don't remember seeing that...didn't read the whole thing because some parts were hard to read but if it's true, then I like it. If the game turns out like how he says it, then I'd love to play a challenge...

It sucks drag won't be in. From the map of the city, I saw a few locations perfect for drag racing. What they need to do is implement drag like in UG. Perfectly straight, narrow tracks. I loved drag racing in UG.

Anyone notice something weird in this picture:

(especially on the Carrera GT in the bttom left picture?)
