NFS Most Wanted cars rehashed and thrown into a prettied up NFS Underground 2 world with the same original body designs that originated all the way for the first Underground..
Can they Not comeup with anything new?
I am not spending $60 for another game that is just EA tryign to squeeze as much life out of this series...
Buy Forza 2...

Ummm, nope..it's just you. I'm not terribly excited about the game and I can wait until it comes out...no rush...but I'll be definately be playing it the first day it comes out...BluePhirePB wrote:Wow, so much negativity towards Carbon. I don't mind your and anyone elses' opinion but is there anyone out there that's actually looking forward to Carbon or is it just me?

I said UG2 was crap, never bought it. Demo'd it and got tired of it...gzM wrote:what makes me laugh is that 9 times out of 10 its the people that are negative towards a game that end up loving it the most.
I never got too interested in MW and the reuse of those ugly rims.. Never liked it.
So I dont know what 9 people you are talking about.
I will definitly play it, but I would never waste the money to buy it.
The only tuner NFS game I really liked was NFSU. I hated NFSU2 because of the fact that you had to drive everywhere instead of choosing where to race. The music in NFSU2 and MW sucked, and I didn't like the "blacklist" thing in MW.
U1 was perfect, a great storyline, and much less rap. Or atleast the rap was better than in MW or U2.
So I'm hoping Carbon won't come out as a touched-up NFSU2. It looks like it, but just cause of the graphics...

Haha, so true! I've loved every NFS game since I started playing HP2. But really, the majority of the comments I read about Carbon are negative and that bothers me not because of what people are saying but what EA is doing to cause this type of reaction. If there's this much negativity, I'm afraid they might even kill off NFS. I could be blowing it out of proportion though.gzM wrote:what makes me laugh is that 9 times out of 10 its the people that are negative towards a game that end up loving it the most.
the graphics look like MW with a fixed up lighting engine...Stereo wrote:The only tuner NFS game I really liked was NFSU. Negro please, you do research. Muscle cars can definitely drift, an important (but not the sole factor, as there is no sole factor) to drifting is torque. What do you think would have more torque, a camaro (muscle) or a lolcivic?

Yes these are purpose built drift cars, and 'new muscle' but import drift cars are purpose built, are they not? Plus actually try to drift in both, and you'll know, muscle cars can drift.[/img]

Heck even us Aussies have drifting muscle cars...
You have the 1000+ hp Drifting C.A.P.A utes, DRIF6, Drifting Monaros and a shipload more. If you can drift a muscle car, and control it, you need skill unlike drifting half of those lightweight jap imports.
The trailer looks bloody good, I like the whole fact of downhill drifting coming back
