Know what I'd like though, no crappy graphs of acceleration, handling, top speed. Do it yourself. Handling has every car's different capabilities, and top speed is relied on your downforce settings and engine tunes. Acceleration is relied on your horsepower and torque, so we can at least get some technical specifications towards the car, rather than just bars showing crap.

Well, EA did say they have this new Autosculpt thingy, I still don't quite understand what it is but I presume it will add more tuning possibilities.baadmw wrote:im happy if i get alot of BMW's... if they really have to add all the rice buckets, the least they could do for us is that they make good looking bodykits (i really hope we will be able to combine body parts, but i dont think we should get our hopes high)
btw, how did you get a custome title?

Drag is an essential part of a street racer!! Drag in U1 was really good but all started goin down hill after U2. The Last time I checked Drag Racing was straight line racing. EA turned it into Mini sprint racing in U2 and then dodge car racing in MW. REAL LAME EA.
Now there is no drag in Carbon and with all these new power plants that I am seeing in the screen shots a drag track would realy be nice to open up thoese babies on. I just hope the track design allows for top speed.

@2furio: He won a compatition a while ago...and got to have whatever he wanted for his title.
There should be drag racing in the game...its pretty shiznit that there wont be any in carbon though...its a street racing game so there has to be. They just need to have good drag tracks, ones without stupit turns everywhere...just normal straight roads.

Yes, I totally agree, TDU will get lots of old NFS fans to buy the game, like me and 2furio for example!
@ Stiggy: Oops, I forgot those Ferraris, got to love them exotics.
They're the best IMO.
and McLaren F1 totally pwns
@2furio: There was something about AutoSculpt technology in Game Informer..
It said that we could shape the X,Y,Z graphs (See Calculus) of the Car Parts (bumpers, spoilers, and such), that's how I understood it.

Let me make it perfectly clear (for like the 5th time), Carbon is NOT a drifting game. Its main purpose is Canyon Racing. Hell, there hasn't even been any mention of drifting mode coming back (hopefully it will stay out)Bulletboy wrote:in a drifting game like carbon what will be the use of all those exotics, there is no drag racing either.

Just had a quick look at TDU on t'interweb. I hadn't heard of it until you guys were talking about it.
All I can say is, from what I have seen so far, that has the kind of cars I like. Lotus Esprit, AC Cobra, etc, etc. Why the flip can EA not do it? Why? It's not flaming rocket science!
And as it's coming out on PC, I think I might be swapping my alegience from NFS as well.

Somebody said there's going to be a NSX in this...but i also heard somebody saying forget about nissan, honda and ferrari being in the game.
Now which is true? i would love 2 see a NSX in the game and im sure alot of people would too since it hasnt been in any other nfs game and imo...its honda's ferrari.
Someone surely knows if the NSX is in it or not, i would really like to know.

Off-topic: The official TDU website cracks me up - "select your langauge".
There are options for English and USA - fine, it has been said that "Britain and America are 2 countries separated by a common langauge". But why the option for "Australian"? Have you guys invented your own langauge while I wasn't looking?
On-topic: I hope EA hurry up and release an official car list - but don't hold your breath for Nissans and Ferraris - as has been discussed before, these manufacturers don't like their cars involved in Police chases - and as there are going to be Truncheon Monkeys in Carbon, I guess we won't be seing them.
