I really doubt there will be a NSX in the game, simple reason is that as far as I know the only nfsgame the NSX shined in all it's glory was TNFS (could be mistaken but I am pretty sure.. going to check the cd box now  )
But the recent NFS games the NSX was not in it, reason??
U1, the NSX might be to much of a purpose build race car with a to high exotic look. who knows....
U2 if you look at the cars in U2 all the cars where front engined. no exeptions, so you could fill the trunk with all kinds of ricer stuff... that officially only add weight (Ironic that you buy weight reduction kits to go faster... :? )
MW.. no honda at all (cops I assume...)

okay, first off: i hear a lot of people bizatching about trunk audio and neons and colored headlights (look at the evo in the latest PS3 screen shots, he has red lights). just because you people don't want that option in there doesn't mean you HAVE to use it!! EA can put it in there and you people can just stay away from it. i'm tired of all you "game gurus" who think you know all there is to know about what people want in their games. here's a little lesson for you: SPEAK FOR YOURSELF!

now, to my idea. if anyone here has played San Andreas as i'm sure a lot of you have, you will notice that rockstar had 3 large cities. all of which were connected by roads, not teleporters (midnight club series). i would like to see something like this in the new NFS, but i'm sure EA won't do this. it would add a lot to the game in my opinion. seeing as how they want to have teams. well why not make it so that there are 3 cities and each city has it's own "rival team". and there is reportedly only 3 race types listed thus far: canyon, drift, and lap knockout. 1 for each city.

Sadly I do know what the average current NFS gamer want's.
I see it all day on the streets ----> RICE!
But you are right we don't have to use it (although in U2 we where forced to use it to progress in the game. so in a way yeah you do have to use it.
let's hope NFS C doesn't force you to add stuff you don't like.

I am all for a very wide game that allows everyone to do what they want. cause you are what you race

but on the other hand I feel so sorry for the exotics in the game that are going to be raped by ricerkids.. but if that is what it takes to get a game that can please alot of people.. so be it.

This isn't much of a deal but I wonder why EA always has the license plates set to NFS or whatever the game name is. It'd be cool and unique to make your own custom license plate names.

Confirmed Carbon modes (from an interview which will come out next week)

Q. What will NFS Carbon have by way of race modes?
LL: Circuit, Sprint, Speedtrap, Canyon Duel, Canyon Race, Drift, Canyon Drift, Time Trial and a few others we can tell you about at a later date.

you know, even if EA adds exotics, who's to say ricers will ruin it? look at MW, most of the exotics had one or two bodykits, albeit hideous, but that's still considerably less than the tuner class cars. so since Carbon will feature car classes, maybe the higher up you go, the lesser your customization options become (which is true for exotcs)

I'm not so sure we are going to have the ability to select individual bumpers and sideskirts, which in my personal opinion blows/!/ Now I'm starting to wish the Autosculpt feature was included in NFSU2 :(

I love it already!

They could give us drag races too, imo that shouldn't be too hard, give me a straight line, 4 lanes and booya it's done Image

I hope they implement the speedtrap a little bit better then in MW, cause the "cameras" where on strange places sometimes... in 1 race there was a camera in the park
and real camera would be nice that are always there instead of a mobile icon that changes with every BL racer.

I hope Timetrail is the same as Tollbooth in MW
I did find tollbooth in MW a really nice type of race. pure against the clock and no Catchup AI to worry about, the only one you could blame was YOU :D

The overall list of races looks nice. I hope the drifting has good tracks and not 5 minute laps as in U2. but short laps with good corners to slide trough

You guys do notice that EA just puts a fancy name for there race modes.
eg: Tollbooth races are just old school checpoint racing (Cruisin USA & Daytona USA)
I must say back then I did not like check point racing but in MW I just love it:) I hope that mode is in NFS C

i dont understand why so many people who buy tuner cars have to rice them and now there in games like this. dont get me wrong i love tuner cars (skylines, supras etc..) but if you dont like the way the car looks...why would u buy it in the first place and even worse have to put bodykits and massive spoilers that completely change the look of the car to make it look "cool".

I personally like minor body kits, something "clean" looking so to speak, as in still have the look of the car but a couple of extra touches to make it look that extra better....not a massive overdone front bumper and grill that just chages the whole look of the car.

I like customization in games but if were talking bodykits please let them be LICENSED, not that EA overdone crap. People putting Neons and all that other crap a.k.a *rice* in their cars is beyond me, lets just hope the autosculpt feature will live up to its hype.

Ya, that would totally suck if it were present in this game too - especially during the touge runs.

I hope NFS:Carbon will return to the quality of NFSUG1, because both UG2 and MW were sucky games. At least the name won't help a lot to that.. :s.

I'm talking about the race part. Tuning is just a bonus IMO. We, members of nfsunlimited.net, had a lot of fun with it, because we took it to another level. Normal gamers use it just as a gimmick, which leaves a boring racegame.
