off topic: after watching the tdu trailer, i decided to switch to tdu. all the handsome cars are made ugly by the ea body kits.

tdu: good ca list, real parts, all typs of driving view, able to create ur own driver, interior views, no ai cheating.

nfsc: unknown car list, fake ugly parts, 4 driving views, same old guy driving the car, no interior views, ai chaeting

time for a change.

I think The Civic Si was released a couple of months ago.

http://automobiles.honda.com/models/mod ... e=Civic+Si

I like the look of it much better than the new UK. It has much more potential.

i know i will be switching over to TDU, but i'll still keep my faith in NFS games. they're what got me addicted to cars and racing (illegal, street, or otherwise) and they hold a special place in my heart.

that said, wth is up with that mega-fugly body kit on the RX-7???

gay, not trying to sound like an ass whole, but u really need to watch what u say when u come one here. this is a nfs forum and not a tdu forum. also u really should post those kind of remarks in the general nfsC thread. as much as we appriciate your comments, lets try to stick to the topic at hand with the thread.

ok, now on with business, i was on a french forum for nfsC and they were saying that the online version is going to have some extra cars that we might not get in the game, as well as there might be some extra downloads. can anyone help me prove this fake or real?

i heard time before that Lapierre (i hate now his name) said that they were seeing the chance to allow players to download content into the game, but he doesn't specificated WHICH game it would be inclueded that feature. I hope NFSC include this option to download things like decals, vynils, cars or even city parts.

I'd love tiny hatches: the Peugeot 207 RCup... the Nouvelle Clio Renaultsport... the Ibiza Cupra R... the Mini Cooper S JCW... But I would really love the turbocharged 180hp 1.6L Grande Punto Abarth.

For hot hatches, the new Audi S3, the Focus II RS, the Opel Astra OPC, the León II Cupra, the Alfa 147 GTA, the VW Golf R32 and the Civic Type-R (a.k.a. the Egg). My Japanese choices are the Eclipse (all the last three generations), the 350Z, the S2000, the RX-8, the Impreza, the Lancer Evolution X, the Supra, the Skyline R34 and the Hachiroku.

Sports cars should be the new Audi TT and the 2008 Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Camaro. As high-performance sports cars, the Musatang GT500 Shelby, the 997 GT3 and 997 Turbo, the CLK AMG, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and the new Jaguar XKR. And leave the exotic cars for racing simulators.

why all the new versions of every car, like the New focus and the New leon (wich is not at all a good looking car... just the same as all other current seat's)

Some new cars are pretty nice, but alot of people (including EA) are forgetting that some previous generations are often really nice looking cars and no like current models almost all the same.
and if you go a few generations back, lets say around 1990-95 or even further back some cars are classics and had a really unique design.

I really doubt current models will ever be a classic.

The only exceptions (IMHO) are the Vauxhall/Opel Astra - the new one is better looking than the last generation (especially the new SportHatch 3door); and (perhaps controversially) the Honda Civic, which is no longer the boring, old person's car it used to be (at least, it was mostly elderly people who bought them in my country).

Darren, your right, the Astra looks alot better now, I have to say I like the VXR version, I driven the normal 5 door hatch in diesel version for a whiile for my work but found it to be rather rough in handling (was to fast driving on the clutch alone.. at low speed areas with speed bumps etc. the car did 30 km in second on the clutch alone.. wich was to fast to get around sharp corners etc.. ) and I found the interior rather plasic like, but apart from that, it looked really nice, we use the prev gen astra before that, but it was much less attractive car.

I just love the anti-stall you get on diesels. M25 rush-hour driving is a breeze when you stick the car in 2nd, just let out the clutch and can crawl along at 10 MPH (15 MPH in 3rd, 20 in 4th and 25 in 5th) giving it no gas whatsoever - it's almost like driving an automatic!

In some situations it can be handy but in the places I had to work as a driving instructor, the Ideal places to learn someone steer a car and learn them to watch are places with alot of corners where the eyesight is very bad, and the corners are slow and sharp (and I mean really slow  )

but for normal driving it was a pretty nice car. have to say the new Vauxhall/Opel/Holden cars are becoming less dull, prev generations where sometimes really boring cars.
