Yeah, anyone know what T1 and T2 mean?
Well I just got a test done in Ontario, the province I live in, and I got...
Communications 5.1 megabits per second
Storage 623.3 kilobytes per second
1MB file download 1.6 seconds
Subjective rating Awesome
And T1 = 1.75 MBPS, so I'm faster than T1?

Now, before I post my results, I have to make it clear that I live in the country and am right at the extreme limit for ADSL (approx 5 KM from the exchange and 1960's wiring). Mind you, it would help if I was on the same exchange as the town I live in, even the same county!

Forgot to add it's around 50 Euros a month, because this provider is extremely expensive. I can get triple speed on another provider for like 40% less, we're probably switching over soon.

[nerdmode]Impossible since your internet speed doesn't depend on your PC, unless the crap on the PC completely clogs your connection by downloading shiznit or something[/nerdmode]

thats because you are using ethernet connection.. and this one is limited at 100mbps
this is LAN speed... not your actual internet connection speed XD
(you saw this at the icon in the system try right?

That's not your connection speed, that's just the maximum amount of info able to be sent through your LAN connection.
