[NFSMW] Wired Gamepad not working

Post by Jan86 »

Hey I just got the game recently all exited to install it on my PC to find out the gamepad I have doesn't work with the game ? I tried everything mentioned in the EA and manufacturer FAQs. The calibration process works (control panel) but when I enter the game and press gamepad buttons it just doesn't work.

This is the gamepad I own

I tried to install the LGS thing but it didn't help. So now I have it uninstalled, on XPSP2.

I would appreciate if someone with the same gamepad that got it working could tell me how to do it. Or give it a shot even if you have a different one..

Thanks

Why is your answer to everything re-installing Windows? That should be a last resort.

Cuz a lot of problems have solved by reinstalling windows,i do that with years,i know it does, unless u have other very important files on the computer,oh i dint say reinstall instantly,i said if nothing solves ur problem then reinstall windows and drivers

the problems that a fresh install of windows usually solves can be solved using other non-fatal methods quite easily, if you just know what to do.

well, since the first suggestion you give to every problem is a reinstall of windows, it sure as heck seems like it.
