First NFSC Preview by Gamespot
well, even in MW you could tweak up the bonus rides, well visualy though...that Camaro with some chrome wheels looks awesome.
About the HUD i hope on customisation, and the thing where it hurts me, is that sound, i hope they`ll make major changings ... or probably that the trailer was filmed on an XBOX, and the sound is recorded a little late, gives the impression that the gearshifting sound is a bit odd. Anyway, the game is ok, for now.

Guys, what do you say about the car's control, well the way that the player controlled the car? I kinda liked the E-Brake, when he activated it, it really moved the car in some of the corners, and another thing I`ve noticed is the Brake, was really effective on those turns.

i agree with you stiggy, maybe EA is includying that customisable option of tachs. But that one from the previews are ugly IMO. I hope to see more about the AutoSculpt feaure, i know now that you can customize your car with "sliders", but i want to see it in action, and any ideas of the MENU, i mean, the "Garage menu" like MW or U2?? (main menu looking)

man that was the dagger to the heart right there >_<Gamespot wrote: Another returning feature with a fresh twist is customization. This time out Carbon is poised to offer all the expected features seen in previous games, although the ability to tune your cars isn't quite as deep as that offered in Need for Speed Underground 2, there's a crazy new aspect to it.
lies. lol. if theres no mazda in carbon, theres only gonna be 3 different sounds on all the exotics, 3 different sounds for imports and 3 sounds for muscle. no EA no a GTO doesnt sound like a Mustang. get it right X_XThe car sounds are being beefed up to offer robust differences amongst the car classes.
we're gonna hear horror music when we drive in the dark in the canyons. xDagain lol wrote: The tune marked a different approach from the licensed music that you'd expect from typical NFS and fit the action surprisingly well.
and lol i like quoting.
btw. we're not the only ones that want ea to go back to the old days. look

how do u no its gonna be horror music? We havnt even heard any of it yet. I think that its gonna be really good because EA did a pretty good job of making the music for MW. Also if u actually read the preview, they said they would through interactive music like in MW wen doin the canyon races.Flameking wrote:man that was the dagger to the heart right there >_<Gamespot wrote: Another returning feature with a fresh twist is customization. who cares, alot of ppl dont bother fine tunning there cars anyway because novice players would just mess up the cars preformance

3 different sounds for exotic? have u ever played MW. They recorded most of the sounds from the actuall vehicles which is a thing that alot of games dont do. Yes they even recorded a Carrera GT in Vancouver, which is awsome. If one or two pairs of cars sound the same, who cares.
