official word: demo wil come out earlier than the MW demo. MW demo came out in october. august is almost upon us, and we have had no word on the demo. only assumption possible: demo will be coming out in september.

NFSMW PC demo came out on November 11th, 2005, just a week before the game release.

I wont expect NFSC PC demo before October anyway.

I've read tha the full version of the game will be realeased on the 11/11/06, but the demo should come out during spetember...

The Gamespot "On The Spot" video is the one you're referring to. September 11th did pop up quite a number of times, but the EA representative when asked mentioned November 2006. So I don't think Gamespot knew what date was putting on there.

yeah, the demo is done being made, it has been for the last month or so, cuz EA submitted it to the german ESRB thing awhile ago, and im pretty sure the demo will come out during or after the german thing(lol) im almost positive some1 will hawk it and put it on the web somewhere (wether it be IRC, torrents, w/e) even if its illegeal im sure it will be there, as for legal one, wait untill late august probably

Why would anyone put a demo up to torrents? I mean, okay, there are a lot of people waiting, but I didn't see any of the previous demos getting out illegally.

I think the demo will be very tight on the contents if it comes out quickly, I mean it could be possible that we do not see the police for example...
And on the other handt this time EA do not talk about how the poilice will work in Carbon.

we've already seen parts of the demo. the guy at the EA showcase played the demo on the Xbox360. from what that showed us, there will be one canyon duel, three of the starter cars (one for each class), autosculpt options, and a few other races. since he didn't mention police, or show us any pursuits, i'm doubtful those will make it into the demo.

i doubt it'll be out in october becuase the Wii is coming out in October. more people are gonna be worried about looking like complete idiots flying across thier living room with a remote control than playing Carbon

Torrent doesn't necessarily mean illegal..

It could come in handy when download servers get overloaded and you're unable to download.

Then the smartest move would be releasing it in September, since the complete idiots would still be flying across their living room in November, December and possibly next year if the Wii doesn't bore them.

september would be the most logical time to release the demo, and since we've already seen parts of it in various interviews, i dont see why EA wouldn't. but this is EA we're talking about, so we'll see.

the PC and nextgen console versions of the game are/were being developed synchronously. so why wouldn't the PC demo not be released along with the console demos?

The user before me mentioned posting the demo on torrent before actual release, by illegal means that is. That's why I used torrent and illegal in the same paragraph. I never, ever do that without a reason. God loves torrents. It's proven.

the weather in Most Wanted occurs in cycles. first it's bright and early morning, which slowly cycles through afternoon, and then the gorgeous sunset. the rain usually occurs after the sunset (giving the illusion of darknes) or right between afternoon or sunset.

i've spent countless hours trying to get the right lighting effects for screenshots, so i know.
