The Car list is huge....with the Final Gathering over 150+ cars (Including all of the downloaded cars) but when you buy the game off the shelves, there are 90 Cars in the game, then via Downloadable Content (PC Online and XBOX Live Marketplace) it's possible to bring it up to 150 or more.

Oh, I see. Sorry about that.

Yes, and I'm pretty sure that's true, so no worries.Skyline_man wrote:Yeah, hopefully.
Oh no, TheStig, it's not like PGR3 at all, in TDU, you're able to play the Cars in Single Player Mode and Online, and that's only one of TDU's advantages over PGR3!TheStig wrote:That is great news... and Am I lucky I got a 360.
I hope the cars are playeble in single player mode and not like PGR3 online on Xbox live. I downloaded 2 carpacks for PGR3 with some really nice cars but haven't been able to play them cause I don't race online...
And why would you consider yourself lucky for a X360? On a PC, you could have all those things (Including Downloadable Content) and Online GamePlay...and I'm assuming, since you have an Internet Connection, there'd be no problem playing TDU...it would be fantastic! But then again, it's your choice, and some people do have low-end PC's, so I understand.
I haven't found anything for the PC about downloadeble content. but if you say so.
I simply said it because I see alot of multi platform games that have only downloads for the 360 (and having to pay for it) like Ghost Recon AW did, the only version with extra weapons was the 360 and the PC was left out.
I think I'll get TDU for the 360 but maybe also for the PC, I think the PC should still handle it.
I don't care much about online racing, I did it alot for U1 but till then... hardly. sometimes I played shooters online, but the other players ar way to good, alot of online players are often 24/7 gamers.
The only game I play(ed) alot online is Battlefield 2 but then it only has a online mode cause offline is not fun at all.

I believe that the Demo won't be back up. There's a new X360 Demo coming for TDU and it will have new features.TheStig wrote:Any word if the 360 demo is back online?
I can't check daily cause my 360 is not connected to the network. and I have to bring it down from my bedroom to my living room to connect it and i am not doing that on a daily basis

When is that demo coming ?, i hope it comes out for the PC as well.
A must see topic, someone got the full TDU game for reviewing it for an XBOX magazine.
check it, it has some nice info, and you can easily get what you want to know from the reviewer.

http://forums.eu.atari.com/showthread.php?t=39749TDU is more my style, and more of an experience. Forza I never really got into, not sure why. I should love it, but I never really went back to it. PGR3 is great because it also has cockpit modes. TDU is the daddy though. It's the game I always wanted someone to make.

the pc and ps2 versions of the game is being developed by different companies (i dont know if this is indicative of a serious multiplatform developement or if the other companies are just converting the game from the 360) so the fact that a 2nd 360 demo is coming out mens squat for a potential pc demo.

EDIT - Here are tons of new Images from Alfa Romeo, and it seems that they took out the Brera, all that's left are the GT and the 8C Competizione cars. They're quite nice though.

Yes, I'm serious, that you'll get news about the Beta, maybe FilePlanet will even release the Beta, no one knows yet, because no one has received anything from FilePlanet after signing up (Just like you and I) , But the other link really has a PS2 Beta Sign-up, and all you have to do is just Sign-up, and get the PS2 Beta Disc in the mail, like I did.
You're welcome, BTW.
