Very interesting, I wonder why didn't I hear about this before, hence the Tesla in the name... Nikola Tesla was our finest scientist of the age! ( http://www.teslamotors.com/learn_more/why_tesla.php )
BTW Denao you might want to resize your signature pic to 550x120 or less, please read the rule related to sigpics

I was very suprised too, and Tesla was pretty important for the hole world, who knows what would happen if he didn't exsist.

Sorry about the sig.

Looks like a great alternative to the MX-5.

It doesn't all look that bad, and 0-60 time is impressive

That is a fast car. You don't really have to pay as much gas for it so it's a deal! :D

It's probably about $75,000 though.

if it is 100% electric... how can it even have a MPG rating?

Well, it's either 0 or infinite mpg. Unless your power is supplied by the burning of some sort of gas, in which case, however much of that fuel is burned to create enough charge to drive the car a mile is the MPG rating.

It's probably an equivalence sort of thing. Like the amount of money you spends on electricity to run your car would be equivalent to n gallons of gas.

Since this car looks exactly like a Lotus, I would say that hope for future cars isn't lost. (Unlike the Honda Insight *barf* )

The fact that it runs off electricity has already 'lost' me :|

The future of cars is bio-diesel, so we better get used to it. Audi's diesel Le Mans car is leading the way, and is a good sign of things to come. Perhaps a biodiesel-hybrid is feasible, but I certainly won't buy one. Anyway . . .

We need more electrics... The current everyday vehicles are primitive and are just glossed over with bodykits, GPS, and DVD players.
