It's already mid-September. Don't you think that it's too late for them to implement new things right now?
On a wild guess, they're having their beta testers on full schedule (and we know what EA does to its employees when it feels like) so that they can track down any more or less obvious, so that they can have the game in gold by mid-October.
Regarding teammates:
I don't see why people have taken the teammates approach so badly and worriedly. I've said it once, and I'll say it again. NFS Carbon's implementation of a team is NOTHING like Juiced. All your teammates did in Juiced is run some races for you, and most of the time they sucked at it. Carbon offers you the chance to have teammates that can give you a little help on the race, or expand the selection of performance parts that you have access to, for example, like a friend that has connections to a store that gets the latest parts straight from abroad, and can get you a good price on them.
I really believe (see: hope) that this will add up to the whole NFS experience, not ruin it like Juiced it.

I don't use pwned. I use BSODed. It's less cool and harder to say. I know.

The Monaro is way better then the present GTO i think. The GTO didnt even sell well and Pontiac considered it a faliure. Thats y its not in production anymore.darknight788 wrote:noooooo....... no tduplicating juiced cars duplicate cars in the game like in MW we had the monaro and the gto they are exactly the same. i would rather have the new gto rather than the monaro imo
If there gonna have the GTO anyway i hope its the older one.

+1 to that. Unless we're Vin Diesel's crew from the first FnF, trying to rob some trucks or something using our four pitch-black, green-neon Civic's.prince1142003 wrote:From what I saw in the demo, your crew drives the same car as you do. While this does make managing the whole crew aspect easier, I sure hope this was a demo-only thing.
Yummy.
...
Wait.
We're talking about Carbon.
What the hell was I thinking?

I'll be glad to see that, I was just asking if any member of the Carbon dev team announced anything like that, because what we've seen so far is a Blocker, a Drafter and a Guy-who-gives-tips, as far as the in-race role of the team goes.

Actually, the abilities of the crew on and off track have already been confirmed.
On track:
Blocker
Drafter
Scout
Off track:
Mechanic
Fabricator
Communicator
You can only take one crew member with you into point-to-point and circuit career races.

The Communicator can have that skill. Remember, you will be able to choose from various crew members that possess certain abilities. You may have a fabricator on your team who specializes in spoilers or a fabricator who specializes in bumpers. You may have a mechanic who specializes in engine enhancement or a mechanic who specializes in transmission modification. In the same manner, you may have a communicator who's got a powerful influence on the police or a communicator who has powerful influence over another group in the world of Carbon.

I thought they called them "Fixers"?prince1142003 wrote:The Communicator can have that skill. Remember, you will be able to choose from various crew members that possess certain abilities.
