the car list part 3 has been taking forever now. 2 was quickly released after 1. =/ why are they taking so long

Anyways, smoothie talks a bit (finally):

NFS web site redesign. This baby has taken up all my time, but we're almost finished and it's schedule to go live in about a week and some change.

PC demo; Almost ready for release. Can't give exact date yet, but it'll be close to game ship
Cars; A few more are to be unveiled on IGN tonight and I'll update the site on Monday to reflect them.

We're looking to do a QA w/ the team on a couple other items that I also can't yet discuss, but it's been based around some of the hot topics here in the forums as well as around some of the feedback from the Xbox 360 demo. It's in the works, but not sure on timing.

Also looking to do a QA w/ our licensing group to address some of those burning questions about "why this car" or "why not that car".

So Darius is the dude to beat this time...mmmm. interesting thing....and I KNEW it, MY Cross theories were true, he was fired from Rockport P.D and now he's chasing u...cool, i wonder if you could add him like a crew member....and also very cool mini windows showing your crew member talking and showing facial expression during the race....cooool....

@xturbo: Please stop shouting. That is, writing in all-caps.

Now, the "Portion of Intro Cutscene" that you mention was part of this week's "On The Spot", and they showed it just for the fun of the cheesy cutscene and the return of Cross. The history behind why they did this goes back to MW, where Razor's line "5 grand. 5 GRAND!" became instantly a Gamespot favorite and was a punchline on "HotSpot" and "On The Spot" shows throughout the year. You can imagine how disappointed they were to find that Razor doesn't come back in Carbon.
