Hmm, tough one... Lots of different (musical) genres to choose from.
Maybe Godfather, once you hear those couple of main themes you're immediately reminded of the movie.

Clint Mansell's Requiem for a Dream OST.
It's so good the tracks from that soundtrack have been used on many other movies/trailers including LOTR trilogy for instance.

Well, few already mentioned. Band of Brothers had awesome music. Pirates of the Carribean is also doesnt need any explanations.
Also liked the Black Hawk Down music at the end and another one wich is not exactly the music, but in movie called something like 11 Ocean`s Friends or somethin was great melody when that french guy was robbing a museum. Still havent found whos music that was.

O, and Reservoir Dogs and Rocky (:P) needs to be nominated too. Especially Reservoir Dog has that cool intro by George Baker (Little Green Bag).

That would be Ocean's Twelve. The sequel to Ocean's Eleven
.
Recently saw the Pirates Of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest. And I have to admit I too liked it
.
