NFSC Hands-on at IGN (PS3)

IGN, the online magazine, posted some hand-on the PS3 version of Need For Speed Carbon and how it looks.

While we've already written tons and tons on the game's basics, when we'd seen the game up and running on the PlayStation 3 previously it was in early form and honestly looked it. Today though, we got a chance to see the nearly finished build and it now looks to easily be on par with the Xbox 360 version.

Funny, I thought the PS3's graphical power was supposed to be above that of the Xbox 360. I'm glad I'm getting the Wii.

Wii is going to blow away XBOX360 and PS3.

Even thow the PS3 is great!!! I think that a good PC will kick %&()% !!

Whether or not the PS3 has that graphical edge, it doesn't mean jack. It's up to the developers to decide whether they want the graphics to be an exact port (no changes) or actually get off their lazy asses and put in something special.

Whats with the smoke every time the car shifts...

Personally, I think it looks stupid. Maybe a little flame after a downshift every now and then; but a plume of white smoke? I hope I can turn it off.

The in-game footage looks fantastic, but such a shame the people driving can't actually drive.
