You know guys, after watching the Gameswelt.de videos, it would appear that Heat Level 6 will make a comeback, only this time, as a regularly encountered Heat Level given the fact that the Heat Level on the DB9 pictured above has risen beyond the fifth Heat Level.

For what i've seen on the vids the cops might totally spoil the fun. They are ridiculusly anoying and hard to lose (or the guy who drove really sucked - which is possible;)). I sure hope that evading and running from cops will remain reasonable and fun.

I only consider myself to be a reasonably good driver when it comes to the Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted and soon to be Carbon era of the Need For Speed games, but the impression I got from the videos, which admittedly could be completely wrong, was that the person at the controls was either not a regular Need For Speed player, or perhaps more likely, not a regular Need For Speed Player on the Xbox 360.

From looking at a number of the videos that weâ€™ve seen involving police pursuits, I think itâ€™s safe to say that evasion, much like it did in Most Wanted, will once again be down to driver skill and knowing your surroundings. Survival will undoubtedly come down to the ability to weather the onslaught of the police vehicles that are trying to stop us until the opportunity to run for hills presents itself whilst backup is called in.

Now I don't know what to buy it on!!!

I don't have the money for a 360 or PS3. I wanted to buy a PS3 at first so I can play my PS2 games on it, but they jacked up he price of the PS3 and they don't have the Carban Collecters Edition for it. I was gonna live with the PS2, but now it doesn't have 20 car races. firetruck EA and SONY!!!!

I don't understand why people are complaining so much about the PS2 version.

Yeah it is the most used console at this time. But it is also a old and outdated system.
You must be glad EA even deceides to build a game this big and detailed for the PS2 and XBOX. But they have to downgrade it to make it playeble.
The more cars you put in 1 race the more it requires from the system. it uses alot of memory.
They could keep the 20 car races and give you a nice steady 15fps and ruin the whole experience.

Just compare it with a PC from the same year as the first PS2, and see how well NFS Carbon plays on that?

its a big s**t that EA makes demos for that damn PS2 and for XBOX but they dont make any for PC....I thought that the PC demo should be out today but I dont see any....but i dont uderstand why coz the PC version made the nfs series so famous

the night is't over, here in Europe it's almost midnight(some countries) .. USA is back with 12hrs or so ... I say it again, I don't really need the PC demo, although is good for geting used with controls and the system.

Point taken. I was just at work having a rant. I understand that they do put a lot of time and effort into designing games, and I guess it is hard for them to keep everyone happy with so many different consoles on the market.

Well do you know how many cars will be in the ps2 version? I hope its more than four

It will still have the same number of cars that other versions of Carbon has. But instead of being able to have 20 opponents at once, you'll be limited to 4.
