There are 6 driveable but locked cars in the demo. Mazda 3 Mazdaspeed, Dodge Charger SRT-8, Aston Martin DB9, Mazda RX-7, Mazda RX-8, and Subaru Impreza WRX STI. There are also additional traffic cars, but who cares about those, right?

Why did they put those other cars in?
How can you unlock them?

Guys, you wont believe this, i was checking the registry files for the demo when i saw the Visual treatment option, and guess what, it was already ON :? (Value = 1), so i disabled it to see how the game will look like without it, and i was shocked when i found it looks much better without it, see the screenshots:

Visual Treatment ON:

Visual Treatment OFF:

When its ON, it seems like there is a blue overlay over the game, but without it, colours are more fresh, plus it adds more FPS to the game, i wonder what is EA thinking, i really hope that this demo was not well optimized and that the final release will have these gfx issues sorted out. [-o<

Start > Run > "regedit" > "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" > "SOFTWARE" > "Electronic Arts" > "Need For Speed Carbon Demo" look on the right window and find g_Visual Treatment, double click and set to 0

It was set to 0 by default here :?

man, just wait until the cool guys like arushan can release some files if they can, coding and hacking mw was difficult, so, for carbon i think it's going to be the same, also the vynils extension has changed....it seems that ea doesnt want any custom vynil for now

Just calm down man, i know you're asking, but the demo was released just 2 days ago, dont expect things too soon, remember also that carbon is released soon :) and it's ""no point"" to release stuff, but well, just wait, time will bring things....for now "satisfy" yourself with the demo, soon the full game in our pc's 8)

Here's the link for those who don't want to mess with the registry manually:

http://www.filefactory.com/file/308364/

Just download the file, right-click, Merge and click on Yes. Motion Blur and Visual Treatment off. High performance stuff.
I don't use pwned. I use BSODed. It's less cool and harder to say. I know.

yeah, just increased the brightness, adjust it as you want, if you dont wanna mess with things manually, try the filefactory link above, i havent used it, so i am not responsible for what it might cause.

Skyline_man, it's only a .REG file, changing the Hex for MotionBlur and VisualTreatment in NFS Carbon Demo's registry keys. Just the changes you did in your registry manually, only I exported them to a .REG and kept the two lines needed to increase performance.
