I thought the demo was excellent, Very pleased with it. Excellent graphics too.
Drifting was much better than in Underground 2, (once I got the hang of it that is
)
Out of the three cars that were on offer I found that the Muscle was a lot easier, and the Exotic was almost impossible. I have to say The handling is much better than Most Wanted, more on a par with Underground 2, which is good because that was the better game In my opinion (don't know why I just can't play Most Wanted anymore).
If anyones curious about the graphis here is a picture of mine.

Just saw the first North American TV ad for Carbon. Doesn't quite compare to the Most Wanted TV ads. The Carbon ad is somewhat bland, and the voice actor doesn't really have a very exciting voice.
With a demo released so late, barely any large-scale promotions, it makes me think that EA really isn't targeting new fans but rather wants to appease the old fans. IONO, just my two cents.

I don't think they screen any TV ads here in Australia. Didn't think gaming companies even used TV ads. They haven't really puta lot of effort into there promotion campaign this time around, maybe its because they have spent all of there time/money on making this the best game of the new genre yet? We can only hope

Kinda cool, IMO.
Ya, I saw the clutch function in the controls. I guess you can set a clutch pedal or button now.

What i think that release of logitech G25 might have be the cause of the clutch function, there seems to be also possibilty assign keys to every gear individually which means the possibility to use shifter.. nothing new for us sim players but its nice from them to support more serious equipment.. allthough i wouldnt use neither feature in such arcade game as this is but its nice to have the possibility
I just saw some pic of that Steering wheel G25SJ_PleaseDontShootMe wrote:What i think that release of logitech G25 might have be the cause of the clutch function, there seems to be also possibilty assign keys to every gear individually which means the possibility to use shifter.. nothing new for us sim players but its nice from them to support more serious equipment.. allthough i wouldnt use neither feature in such arcade game as this is but its nice to have the possibility
